2. Making daily safety round with the client to identifying hazards such as the unsafe acts and
unsafe conditions at site and taking its corrective action.
3. Conducting safety induction to all new comers and also ensure that issuing of P.P.E passes to
all new comers before they starts work at site.
4. Conducting safety reward function monthly to motivate and encourage the workers towards
safety.
5. Maintaining a high standard in house keeping; to ensure a neat & tidy work place.

7. Making Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) for each job and obtaining approval from the

Installation of 406.40mm (16”) OD and 355.60 mm (14”) OD pipeline, 2 Nos. 40 mm
HDPE ducts and 1 No. 75 mm HDPE duct for power cable under 7 rivers ( 3 in West
Bengal & 4 in Assam) using Micro Tunneling Method
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensuring the personnel going inside the Shaft / Tunnel (Confined Space) taking sufficient
safety precautions and performing the gas checking before entering.
2. Motivating workers on safety matters by giving PEP Talk on regular basis and by placing
safety poster at vantage points the keep the Safety matter alive at all time.
3. Conducting the Site Safety Audit with the Client.
4. Conducting regular Training & Tool Box Meetings regularly and record keeping.
5. Maintaining proper confined space entry permit system.
6. Submission of Monthly Safety Report to HO & Client once in a month.
7. Daily visual inspection of equipment, Job condition, etc. there by ensuring that all tools and
gadgets are safe for use.

5. Monitoring Tool Box Meetings conducted regularly by Contractors.
6. Taking Safety & Housekeeping round with the Unit Head, All Contractors Head of
the Project & Safety Professionals on weekly basis.
7. Daily Site round with the contractor Safety Professionals to identify and rectify the
unsafe act/conditions at site & issuing memos against non-compliance.
8. Coordinating the Safety Stewards and go round with them to ensure safe working.
9. Conducting Monthly Safety Meeting with the contractors to rectify the unsafe
practices and for discussing what all improvements required at site.
10. Conducting Safety Reward Function monthly to motivate & encourage the
contractors towards Safety.
11. Daily visual inspection of equipment, Job condition, etc. there by ensuring that all
tools and gadgets are safe for use.
12. Making Purchase Requisition, assisting stores to purchase quality PPE’s, Etc. Having
good Knowledge in SAP.
