Weekly Devotional
The Second Coming of Christ is a certainty. When it occurs there will be no rehearsals and trial runsit will be a first time event for us to experience. In light of what is coming the most important thing we can do is enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. After our salvation, the call is to live holy and godly lives. Study the passages below that prompt holy living as the second coming approaches.

Message from Pastor Reid

Encouragement Gods Gift to Believers! I am humbled and very grateful for the encouragement you offered by way of Pastor Appreciation last weekend! The food was great the gifts were generous the love you expressed spoke to my heart. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to be a part of Faith Christian Church!! Encouragement is a prominent theme in the Bible, both in the Old and New Testaments. In a world that has the potential to be discouraging it is great to know we worship a God who encourages through His Word and the indwelling Holy Spirit! 2 Thessalonians 2:1617 record, May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and work. The greatest benefit of Gods encouragement is found in the midst of the word courage! Between encourage and discourage is the root word, courage. Through the gift of encouragement God instills the courage we need. The world may discourage. However God will speak and move to encourage so that we will have courage, regardless of our circumstances. Keep looking up receive the eternal encouragement that comes from above be the source of encouragement to someone today!! Pastor Reid

Thought for the Week

Understand the present time. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is almost over; the day is almost here. Romans 13:11-12
