Other considerations
All External Resources Easiest to resource but highest external costs Most experienced resources for development but most difficult to transfer knowledge to internal resources Heavy dependence on already stressed project team to impart business process knowledge All Internal Resources Lowest external costs but selection and availability difficult Least experienced in development to required standards Development time lengthened with least experienced staff
Selection of trainers must consider factors as motivation, ability and respect in the organisation. For example; the least desirable trainers would be those available through job redundancies. Trainers are trained early in the use of SAP and attend pilots after which they have time to practice with the support of the super-users. Trainers are responsible for training and supporting the end user community.
The super-users
Must be someone with a broad knowledge of the workstream Super-users are trained early in SAP basics. Increase knowledge through supporting the validation of the training material development. Deliver the training for the course pilots and provide instructor support during training. Responsible for training the trainers (excluding presentation skills course).
