DISCLAIMER: - I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE IF ANY MISHAPS WHILE/AFTER FLASHING WILL OCCUR (PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS POSTED HERE TO AVOID ISSUES).

- DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! I KNOW THERE ARE OTHER SAME TUTORIALS HERE ABOUT ODIN, BUT I MADE THIS TO HELP THOSE NOT SO TECHY ANDROID USERS -- LIKE ME SCREENSHOTS AND SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS ARE REALLY HELP FULL FOR THE NEW ANDROID USERS. I HOPE THIS WILL HELP A LOT OF YOU GUYS

NOTE: - BACKUP OF YOUR IMPORTANT DATA AND APPS. FLASHING WILL ERASE/FORMAT PHONE MEMORY. BOTH MMC AND SIM FILES WILL NOT BE AFFECTED, BUT YOU CAN ALSO REMOVE MMC AND SIM CARD BEFORE FLASHING. - CHARGE YOUR SGY AT LEAST 75% BEFORE FLASHING. - YOU DONT NEED ACTIVE INTERNET CONNECTION WHILE FLASHING. - THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM UNLOCKING/OPENLINE SGY.

THINGS YOULL NEED 1. SAMSUNG GALAXY Y 2. COMPATIBLE USB CABLE 3. DOWNLOAD *Only fully-registered users can see this link.*

4. DOWNLOAD THE FIRMWARE BUNDLE BELOW (For other firmware versions, please go HERE) Latest firmware is *Only fully-registered users can see this link.*
Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam Wipe package Based on: S5360DXLF2_S5360OLBLG1_S5360DXLF1_HOME.tar.md5

ro.build.version.release=2.3.6 ro.build.date=Fri Jun 22 21:05:16 KST 2012 Included CSCs: GLB MM1 SIN SMA STH THL XEV XME XSE XSP XTC, XTE Included languages: DX = en,id,ms,th,vi,zh(ta) This build contains some provider specific bloatware, depending on your CSC selection.

5. DOWNLOAD ODIN v1.84 OR v1.85 (BOTH WORKS PERFECTLY, BUT IF YOU NEED .PIT FILES, DOWNLOAD v1.85) - pls. see attachments below.

HOW TO FLASH 1. INSTALL KIES. 2. EXTRACT ODIN.

3. EXTRACT FIRMWARE BUNDLE. YOU'LL GET 3 *.TAR (OR TAR.MD5) FILES.

4. CREATE A DESKTOP FOLDER AND SAVE BOTH FILES THERE.

5. STOP/EXIT KIES. 6. OPEN ODIN.

7. SELECT THE NEEDED FILES. NO PIT AND/OR BOOT FILES REQUIRED - LEAVE IT EMPTY! LEAVE ALL OTHER FIELDS AND CHECKBOXES DEFAULT! Wrong pit may brick your device

8. TURN OFF YOUR SAMSUNG GALAXY Y 9. RESTART SGY IN DOWNLOAD MODE. PRESS AND HOLD THE THREE BUTTON KEYS. (VOLUME DOWN + POWER BUTTON + HOME BUTTON)

10. TO CONTINUE, PRESS VOLUME UP. YOU ARE NOW IN ODIN MODE.

11. CONNECT CELLPHONE TO LAPTOP VIA USB. 12. WHEN YOU SEE THE YELLOW INDICATOR ON THE UPPER LEFT OF ODIN [LIKE THIS ---> 0:[COMxx] in the first ID:COM and "Added" in the message box], YOU CAN NOW PRESS START. IT WILL NOW START TO FLASH YOUR SGY.

13. WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THIS.

14. WAIT UNTIL YOUR SGY RESTARTS. 15. YOU CAN NOW REMOVE SGY FROM LAPTOP. 16. YOU'RE DONE. CONGRATULATIONS!
AFTER SUCCESSFULLY FLASHING, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO SET YOUR CSC VIA DIALER: (It will erase all your data on the phone. Your MMC/SD card will not be affected) DIAL THIS *#272*your imei# (to see IMEI type *#06# in dialer) Ex. *#272*355255041215453#

Baka po may mga naka install kang apps na nag wowork sa background. Try mo sir force close yung mga apps na hindi mo talaga kailangan. Observe mo kung iinit pa din po. Pwede mo din i-flash yung sgy mo, para fresh na fresh. After flashing, observe mo din.. pag umiinit pa.. battery prob na talaga yan.
