• Surge impedance of power transmission and distribution tower, communication


tower, tall structure, horizontal conductors of transmission and distribution line.
• Vertical electric field and magnetic field measurement at distant point due to
ground stroke and stroke at the elevated structures.
• Transient analysis of voltage, current and EM fields due to direct lightning
stroke and indirect lightning stroke.
• Effect of ground conductivity on the transient grounding resistance.
• Return-stroke model and its behavior upon different conductivity and channel
characteristics.
• Electromagnetic interference occurred in equipments and devices due to
lightning strokes currents.
• Computational methods for electromagnetic: moment-methods such as wire-grid
modeling and surface-patch modeling; the finite-difference time-domain(FDTD)
method
• Designing of antennas for different frequencies applications.
• Electromagnetic measurements: antenna radiation patterns, monostatic scattering
and radar cross-section; antenna near fields; impedance.
• Aircraft and ship radar cross-section at HF and VHF frequencies.
