As Management Trainee - Sales, you will cary out field sales activities that will result in achieving both top line and gross margin contribution for your business unit. The Management Trainees are expected to identify the needs of potential customers, position appropriate IT solutions from Softcell's portfolio and close orders. The Management Trainee has to also build an effective long term relationship with the assigned customers. Selected Management Trainees will be hired for sales positions in the Engineering Services SBU involving sales of products from Parametric Technology Corporation and Autodesk. Management Trainees are expected to learn on the job and take responsibility for generating sales revenue and reaching to the quarterly revenue goals by winning new business. The most important quality to be successful in this role is to have a passion and flair for field sales and a commitment for building lasting relationship with customers. The Management Trainee - Sales role is a field sales role and we are interested in hiring trainees are passionate about sales, have good communication skills and have a good academic track record. Management Trainees will work within a specific territory or named accounts, meet customer contacts in person on a daily basis to generate opportunities and close sales orders. Other duties may include periodic sales reporting to the Reporting Manager. The Management Trainees will work along with the Inside Account Managers who provide air cover in terms of customer coverage. Primary Job Functions: Manage a territory or a set of named accounts and reach to the revenue goals. Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers in the assigned territory. Manage the overall sales process, from qualification through closing. Maintain a consistent and accurate account and sales lead pipeline. Desired Skills & Experience Candidates with BE (Mechanical / Production) graduation will be preferred. Excellent Oral Communication & Written Skills. Willingness to travel. Ability to act quickly and work under pressure. Should have a bike for the purpose of travel. Management Trainees may progress to a role of Business Development Executive, Sales Specialist or Product Executives on showing good performance.
