What we will show 1>about the stress scene

Stress is a response- it can be healthy and unhealthy Stress patterns are electromagnetically definable Disturbances from stressors show a distortion in the frequency Cells have voltages and operate on electrons They have a charging mechanism We can get electrons from the earth and devices Ph is measured from voltage Inflammation is common and unresolved chronic inflammation may underpin many illnesses

Part 1 Is energy medicine for real?

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

12

Energy medicine- rubbish?

Some argue that there is no such thing as energy medicine. They have not been listening to the physicists, who tell us that there is nothing but energy in the universe.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

13

Definition of energy medicine:

Energy medicine is the diagnostic and therapeutic use of energy whether produced by or detected by a medical device or by the human body. Energy medicine recognizes that the human body utilizes various forms of energy for communications involved in physiological regulations. Energy medicine involves energy of particular frequencies and intensities and wave shapes that stimulate the repair of one or more tissues.

14

In every culture and in every medical tradition before ours, healing was accomplished by moving energy.

Albert Szent-Gyrgyi
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 15

It is often said that we do not understand how complementary and alternative therapies work, and this is one reason they remain outside mainstream science and medicine.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

16

In Dr James Oschmans opinion, we do understand how complementary and alternative therapies work. Our understanding comes from the basic sciences of energetics. They have not been listening to the physicists, who tell us that there is nothing but energy in the universe.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 17

Conflicts of Opinion Also in Dr James Oschmans opinion The population is already convinced- look at how many people use CAM! Unforntunately
The Regulators arent listening! (FAD etc.) The Pharmaceutical Industry is!

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

Key research on energetics:

Harold Saxton Burr (1889-1973) Professor of Anatomy Yale University School of Medicine

Between 1932 and 1956, Burr was responsible for hundreds of publications on the relationships between electricity and life.

of an organ precede pathology. If the electrical imbalance is corrected, the disease process stops.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

20

Implications: There are no real diseases. There is only energetic imbalance.

Acupuncture has a similar philosophy.

Remarkable as it may seem, modern biomedical research has confirmed these ancient and modern concepts.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 22

What if there was really only one problem?

Professor Harold Saxton Burr, Acupuncture modern biomedical research and experience with energy medicine technologies agree: there is really only one problem: energetic imbalance! Maintain balance, and there will be no disease.

A caution: diagnosis shock

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

24

What this means for the patient:

A huge emotional difference between
You have a disease that we will have to treat
Vs

You had an energetic imbalance and we corrected it

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 25

An validated example of energy healing

In the early 1980s, Brighton, Bassett and others demonstrated that fracture nonunions could be stimulated to heal using tiny electric and magnetic fields.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

26

Jump starting a car with a dead battery creates an operational machine; exposure of a nonunion to PEMFs can convert a stalled healing process to active repair, even in patients unhealed for as long as 40 years!

PART 2 Setting the Science Scene -to help explain how the SCIO works IMPORTANT There are healthy and unhealthy stress patterns

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

34

The foundations Types of communication and regulation:

Cell Electrical Health
Cell voltage Cell consturction

Regulation
Molecular signaling Molecular resonance

Communication
The nervous system The perineural/glial system The meridians The living matrix
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 35

Part 2A Creating a stress reference perspective for the SCIO from a frequency perspective

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

36

Basic SCIO Explanation Points

1. 2. We need healthy internal stress patterns to live When these patterns get disrupted we become less well 3. The stress patterns are measurable- they have electromagnetic signals- and they are different in poor health 4. The SCIO can assess possible stress balancing patterns in many (but not all) areas 5. The return to healthy (well) stress patterns involves Reducing external stresses Offering restorative electromagnetic patterns to return the distorted stress pattern to a healthy one
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 37

Healthy and unhealthy stress patterns

There are healthy and unhealthy stress patterns ALL healthy physiological activities involve stress e.g. The adrenals and pancreas increase their activity when there is sugar stress- this is a normal response >>> when the sugar load (strain/external stress) is too high we have excess or inappropriate or unhealthy stress and disturbances -energetically -physiologically
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 38

How the situation gets to a strain/stress overload Overloading your self correcting system

Buffer

Total strain
Hereditary taint

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

39

What creates debilitating stress -what affects your body? Loss of self regulation
We have an amazing self regulating (correcting system) It has a threshold Loss of wellness occurs when there is an overload of the self correcting system: In correction ability In the abilty to communicate resurce and information
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 40

Stress Control Mechanism in overview

Your brain is constantly reading the information It has a reference point of a healthy (stress) pattern (Note that the normal reference point gets lost in chronic/highly adapted situations) When a problem appears, the frequencies and information of the influenced tissue changes This activates normal response (& where appropriate self healing mechanisms) Your body is a perfect, completely self regulating system, as long as the total strain is not too high!
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 41

Frequencies and Stress Please think very, very and even extremely hard about the next slides USING THE CONCEPT OF a stress condition being equivalent to a pattern (frequency) disturbance in the self regulated (well) signals from a healthy organism. This gives some science to what you do
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 42

Frequencies disturbance- example

Two violins in tune- sending the same frequency- sound harmonious- harmony is another way of saying stress free- we are not stressed! When they are out of harmony- when they are emitting a tuneful and an out of tune signal- frequency- it is stressful We return the violin to send the correct frequency- re retune its stress emission. In SCIO practice we offer returning cells that have become out of tune- that have discordant frequencies- a correction de-stressing frequency

SIMPLE HUH?
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 43

Reminder- Healthy and unhealthy stress

Stress is needed to function The brain's operate on difference There is healthy stress patterns No stress = no response= no activity (think about it- no stress = your are dead!) We talk about: de-stressing the unhealthy patterns balancing the stress distortion restoring the life sustaining healthy stress patterns.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

44

Pattern (Frequency) restoration

A diseased cell/organ emits biological signals which have a particular signature/pattern and gives very precise information about the imbalance If we know the healthy signal If we quantify the distortion If we match the difference between healthy and unhealthy to an item (electromagnetic pattern or homeopathic etc.) If we offer it back as a stress correction possibility

Then we have an electronic stress distortion match to a possible stressor

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 45

Frequency Distortions

46

Auto Trivector

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

47

Chronic and Acute

A major issue in many energetic detection systems is that the deeper set, chronic, long established issues are not at the top of the reactivity list This makes it hard to see the real issues easily Lets look at possibilities of why

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

48

Communication Reflects Dysfunction Status

An organ will communicate its status to 1. Inform (brain supervisory control of resources), whole body Solicit support (e.g. 5 element acupuncture relationships)

2.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

49

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

50

Acute to Chronic Stress Process

Example: spicy food which irritates the stomachs mucous membrane.Strain arises in the area 2 3. Healthy system and/or remove load If body structure is strong enough the problem will disappear. (Curve A)
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 51

Acute to Chronic Stress Process

Example: spicy food which irritates the stomachs mucous membrane.Strain arises in the area 2 3.

Unhealthy system or continued load: > Body adaptation Body builds less sensitive connective tissue instead of the sensitive mucous membrane Problem appears solved when pain is gone Normal frequencies are restored according to curve b 4 5. But to what price? There has now arisen organic alteration. The frequencies are back to normal again, but on another level School medicine reckons it to be a chronic problem, now seen by the body as normal condition, which can lead to less stomach acid, poorly broken down food-stuffs..

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

52

Stress Response Processes

Problem Type 1 Short-term Problems (Acute) healthy body can handle Problem Type 2 Long-term Problems (Chronic) body activates different defense mechanisms these ultimately lead to organic changes IMPORTANTLY the whole communication pattern seems to change-it is as though the whole reference point for response changes- it is like the child that you have to shout at to get a response-it is not clear where this information is stored but we see it lots of places in life- and physiologically in CFS where the hypothalamus seems to lose it reference point and goes into high parasympathetic mode.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

53

Degeneration- the ultimate chronic?

The electrical conductance of tumors is 7x higher than normal tissues at 106-108 Hz. This means that there will be a different response in much general spectrum equipment It is also a hint that chronic information may need different assessment parameters from normal tissues- maybe just low activity with reduced signalmaybe more Recall Seyle process Acute >symptoms Going to chronic >symptoms intensity reduces Established chronic>no symptoms (no reactivity)
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 54

Chronic Stress SCIO Response

This change of normal reference also seems to happen in the SCIO test>> chronic issues show low reactivity Cross reference the GAS- Seyle Scale >>in adaptation are we often free from specific symptoms? (we may have general lassitude but nothing jumping out) >>symptoms generally represent active issues> as do reactivities (reactions to activity) So perhaps it is NOT surprising that we don not see the Drtop John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE main issues in the scores??
Vice chancellor

55

Chronic Stress SCIO Response This change of normal reference also seems to happen in the SCIO test A severe peanut allergy may not show in a reactivity test because the response norm has changed.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

56

Chronic Stress SCIO Response

When parasites are present (by another analysis) but there has been significant adaptation because they have been there a long time:
Reactivity test>>not a red/purple value Individual Reaction test> may show low resonance>>maybe the alarm clock has not rung for long enough After a 9 min zap the IR test may show high resonance and low reactivity

This is a good reason for using a questionnaire to establish possible chronic areas Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE 57
Vice chancellor

Stimulation
This used to wake up a really non responsive item A non responsive item that needs stimulation can be considered to be an extreme of chronic adaptation So the chronic process is recognised at the extreme It would be great to be able to wake up all the chronic processes so they all became active and thus re-active! >> not currently possible So again in clinical practice (since chronic items are less reactive) we need to use some real world information to help identify where to look for chronics (mild chronics may be in top of blue band for SCO 1)
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 58

Inversion (real world stuff)

This is effectively a cancellation effect- the normal use is to cancel the pattern of a harmful real substance. Medicine has actually done tests This is the basis of the Bicom/ auto trivector- separate signals into healthy and pathogenic- amplify the healthyinvert the pathological

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

59

Inverting Homeopathics
Homeopathics work in in both ways- effectively to stabilise (at the low potencies in the SCIO) There is a tendency to invert bad things ?? Is this relevant ?? Maybe for anger etc. it doesnt hurt BUT For goodies maybe it will destroy the benefits?? Or maybe for a trivector inversion works differently??

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

Summary- Stress Response Processes

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

61

Part 2 B Quantum and Electromagnetics Lets look deeper Electromagnetic origins Quantum stuff Frequencies- high and low AND Later communications
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 62

There are two modes of energy healing. Repair- low frequency Information- fast

REPAIR
Hands-on and electromagnetic therapies. Use measurable low frequency energy fields. Removes inflammation and other blockages. Opens pathways for communication and cell movements. Can take time. Enhances physiological actionOpens communication
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 63

Second mode of energy healing: Informatics- high frequency and quantum

Replacement:
Restoration of pattern. Quantum holography, morphogenetic field. Uses extremely high frequency energy fields. All tissues are regenerated or replaced. Can be virtually instantaneous. Non-local: operates over distances.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 64

Where do electromagnetic patterns originate?

All life is built up from molecules which are not alive them selves Electrons, protons, etc. are held together by electrochemistry All substances have a frequency pattern based on molecular movement It is this information that your body reacts to Each tissue has its resonance frequency pattern, as well as information stored in the crystalline structures DNA and substances are the same in cells with very different function
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 65

The emission spectrum Of 2-methyl dioxalane

At temperatures above absolute zero, atoms and molecules vibrate. Since they are composed of charged entities, such as electrons, they must emit and absorb electromagnetic fields.

67

PART 2B-1
Quantum Mechanics First: What is an atom?

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

68

Quantum
Quantum = indivisible entity of a quantity is related to both energy and momentum of elementary particles of matter Fundamental notion that a physical property may be "quantized", This means that the magnitude can take on only certain discrete numerical values, rather than any value, at least within a range.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

69

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

70

Schrdingers Wave Equation

In fact, the electrons are somewhere, and they are doing something. An orbital is a volume where you will find the electron 95% of the time. Otherwise, they can be anywhere in the universe. This is one example of nonlocality.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 71

Orbitals are statistical volumes in space where electrons tend to be. Electrons keep moving forever. Where does the energy come from?
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

72

Quantum: Energy comes in steps. There are no intermediate levels.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

73

Many energy levels are available in an atom.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 74

Energy levels in the sodium atom This is the electron that absorbs photons and it is also the conduction electron Note: sodium is a metal. It conducts electricity and reflects light. Give it electrons emits yellow light when electron drops back
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 75

Quantum Jumps
We talk of quantum jumps- which is important in hypothesized SCIO workings When an electron makes a quantum jump- from one spherical annulus to another of higher energy it makes a quantum leap. This may be one reason that validates calling the SCIO a quantum device SCIO work appears to show some energetic changes in the bioenergetic field- this is not mathematically proven but is inferential- e.g. GDV studies (aura like) Knokov measured a difefrence firld between natural and synthetic Vitamin C (which were the same on a molecular spectroscope)
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 76

Quantum Jumps (of light)

The development of quantum theory was from heated body light emissions- this is also a reflection of body activity adding to the quantum importance of biological operations. Weak light emissions orchestrate the body. Emissions occur at the quantum level. Photonic communication enables every cell to know what every other cell is doing. This is the essence of therapeutics and human performance. Gestaltbildung: Cell Coordination and Communication

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

77

Part 2B-2 Difference between Quantum and Frequencies

There seems to be a more active bioenergetic field after SCIO treatment- and faster response>>compared to a straight frequency field (from devices that just use a frequency LIFE, Bicom etc.) ??Difference >>> SCIO trivector ?? The electromagnetic frequencies based on the molecular speed is usually described within regular physics, not quantum physics- frequency is how fastfor electron orbital's how many times it goes round the orbital- you can have the same frequency independent of how big the orbital is
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 78

Various technologies interact with each level.

The bio-field is composed of layers embedded within one another. Quantum fields produce larger effects than classical force fields. Healing information originates in the quantum layer and Glen Rein 1998 propagates into biologically useable electromagnetic energy. Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE 79
Vice chancellor

Quantum
So frequencies dont say anything about orbital's- which are important Quantum physics explains the energetic state of the molecules and waves, according to Schrdinger WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? Orbital state= energy (higher the orbital the more energy) So increasing the orbital increases capacity (for change?) It seems that SCIO/EPFX can also increase the orbital and that is one of the things that makes it a quantum device So we get this and frequencies> both are probably Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE useful! Vice chancellor

80

Difference between Quantum and Frequencies

??is the trivector remedy dynamic- in the auto adaptation response something changes to see if the response can be improved? 1. Volts- yes 2. Response pattern- we know that the response frequency of viruses etc change as they adapt- and so does the pattern (including frequency) from less healthy/adapted cells3. so it is probable that there is an adaptation process that applies to the trivector pattern around a core pattern frame
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 81

Trivector- is it adaptable as part of feedback?

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

82

Part 2B-3 A Frequency Perspective

Low frequencies> organs and they change High Frequencies> communication and they are different but within a range

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

83

Some Healthy Organ Frequencies

(Frequencies are a single composite measurement- SCIO deals in more complete representations)

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

84

Cerebral Communication Frequencies

0.15 to 3.9 Delta (unconscious zone) Psychic, hormonal and cardiac-respiratory conditions deep Ego area physical sexual stimuli emotional sexual stimuli peristaltic activity endocrine activity immune system activity cavity C and cavity P understood in an energetic sense: affection, feelings, of joy and sadness

0.15 to 0.78 0.9 1.09 to 1.2 1.4 to 1.7 : 1.8 to 2.03 : 2.18 to 2.34 2.5 to 3.9

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

85

Part 2B-3 A Frequency Perspective

Low frequencies> organs and they change High Frequencies> communication and they are different but within a range

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

86

High Frequencies
Used for carrier wave- to carry communications They are called mm (millimetre) waves (1-10 in body) The frequency range is ~36 to 70Ghz (47 is mid) There seems to be different frequencies for different systems (circulation, respiratory etc.) Has a parallel to concept of a carrier in Rife Also used in PTD (personal therapy device) as a carrier for specific helping frequencies. It seems that they use the path of least resistance- which also seems to be acupuncture meridians ?? Is there a system correspondence between wave lengths and meridians rather than conventional systems??

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

PART 3B Stage 1- energy resource

No resource = no activity > no purpose in doing anything else > No petrol = no movement! One body petrol is electrons Cells store them, use them They are fundamental and essential LETS LOOK AT WHAT THEY ARE AND DO

Electrical Cells good and poor health

Cell electrics
Healthy voltages The ill health process Degeneration DNA Damage

Inflammation

Chemistry and Biology is Electrical

Chemistry is Electrical The Bodily Fluid exchange in chemical sex is ELECTRONS Take 1 oxygen + 2 Hydrogen Put them together. The first thing they do is: Exchange Electrons
(so what atoms can you trust?)
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 92

Part 3A Voltage & Cell vitality

This is the difference in electrical potential (like the difference on height is gravity) It reflects the driving potential for electron flow It is really fundamental to cell health

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

93

A recent discovery? Dr Nordenstrom in Biologically Closed Circuits,(1983).

Nordenstrom was chairman of the Nobel Committee at one stage in biopsy found that cancers are electron stealers in the interior surrounded by a cover of electron donor inflammation. He also showed that chronic diseases are always associated with a loss of voltage and reversal of polarity. This information is not newit has been known for over three decades. Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE
Vice chancellor

94

Body Electric Health

Health resource is the presence of enough voltage (electrons) for the cells to do work Illness can be from a - lack of electrons (trans-membrane voltage) - it is generally accompanied by inflammation
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 95

Fundamentally cells A membrane boundaried Compartment

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

96

How cell voltage is important

Cell Volts -45to-100 -30 -30 to -50 -20 0 15 40 55 7.35 7.00 6.74 6.30 6.04 Cell pH 7.8-8.8 Symptoms/comments Cancer cells die (Brewer) Cancer cells become dormant Healing-Inflammation Healthy Cell Polarity changes Pain Chronic Infections Cancer/Damaged DNA
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 97

Body Electric Health

The cell voltage reflects electron storage AND ONLY healthy cells are good stores! (hence Prof Nelson emphasis on EFAs) pH comes from voltage measurement So when we measure pH we are measuring pH 0 7 14 electrical health mV +400 0 -400
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 98

Electrical Cells
The cell membrane maintains an ion concentration gradient between the intracellular and extracellular spaces. This gradient creates an electrical potential difference across the membrane which is essential to cell survival. Electrical gradients are necessary to support movement of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nutrients.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 99

Cell voltage is important

High voltage> cancer resistant because so healthy Cell recharges and isolates itself in illness as first response (inflammation) Pain experience correlates with voltage changes (volts drop > pain as warning) Voltage is the basis for pH measurements The extracellular fluid (cell environment/sea) is fundamental to and reflective of cell voltage/activity The following figures are guideline- there are differences of opinion but the principles are valid
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 100

Part 3B- The Cell Soup pH and mV Cells sit in the extracellular matrix- the ground substance What happens here is both
Reflective of cell activity Affects cell activity For now lets look at pH (More later on this living matrix)

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

101

Cells and Ground Substance

pH comes from voltage measurement So when we measure pH 0 7 14 pH we are measuring mV +400 0 -400 electrical health Cells and environment are synergistic Acidic pH in ground substance will reduce cell voltage (as will toxicity by lowering pH ++) Low cell voltage will also create ground substance pH

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

102

Acidic Physiological Processes

The whole biochemistry within a cell is totally different under acidic conditions. Poor cell voltage is an increase in impedance (resistance) Oxygen and nutrients in the cells decrease. Physiologically the cell also starts to struggle. In an abnormal cell membrane whilst oxygen cannot enter the cell, glucose still can.> anaerobic conditions>lactose Normal healthy energy production requires oxygen. So we get an acidic creating metabolism
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE VISCOUS CIRCLE Vice chancellor 103

Cancer cells have a very low membrane potential compared to normal cells. Acidic ground substance surrounding them cannot provide ions needed to maintain membrane potential. Cone (1974); Bingelli and Weinstein (1986)
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 104

What is compromised by low pH in the matrix?

The bodys operating system Systemic cooperation All physiological processes Cell nutrition Cell detoxification Cell-cell communication Cell migration Tensegrity (the self sustaining structural support
principle)

BECAUSE the matrix is the reservoir/sourceeverything goes through it to reach the cell!
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 105

Support & Detox Connective Tissue?

It supplies the cells Nutrients Potassium, sodium, alkaline supports Contains 40% of body protein Benefits from movement to help motion Detox We often focus on detoxing liver, kidneys, colon, lymph PERHAPS Detox focus should be on Connective Tissue!

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

106

SCIO pH Measurement
The location most reflective of cell pH is the extracellular matrix (connective tissue) Urine, saliva vary> blood is constant Saliva has some reflection of matrix Ph when measured carefully

The SCIO measures across the whole bodybetween each limb strap >> it is a composite measurement through skin, organs, bone, extracellular matrix etc. >> so it is a qualitative indicator
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 107

SCIO high ph indicator

High pH- too many electrons need grounding (lose electrons) Reasons breathing infection- (BN observation) Fatty acids can stabilise by absorbing electrons

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

To hold voltage the cells must be healthy- have good construction Just like the plates in a car battery AND Just like a car battery they discharge when they work (start the car) and need recharging AND To hold the charge they must be strong SO They have specific nutrient requirements!
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 113

Healthy and Unhealthy Electrical Cells

Electrical capacitance will increase or decrease depending on the health and the number of cells. Damage to the cell membrane, and its functions, is as lethal to the cell as direct damage to the nucleus itself. Fatty acids are crucial Adequate essential fatty acids (w3, w6, w7) Low trans fatty acids Proteins are also critical

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

114

Cell Needs
Voltage- ? Via meridians? Fats and proteins- for a construction that supports electrical activity and communication Anti-oxidants- to protect oxidation of the cell membrane Vitamins Minerals: Water- as a conveyer and as a pattern transmitter Oxygen Light

Electrical Cells Operation

a current (electron flow) maintains the voltage the inside of the cell consumes electrons capacitor discharges- the resistor controls the rate and stops total short circuit discharge It also balances charging- providing controlled capacitor (storage) recharge and still allowing electrons into the cell

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

117

The Charging Mechanism

The resistor damps the flow whatever the cell doesnt consume is stored in the capacitor used to charge the battery.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

118

The Charging Mechanism

When electrons are needed by the cell they get stored in the capacitor When there is a problem- inflammationthe cells becomes isolated- loses electron input- and works on capacitor charge
The body is smart and appears to re-charge the capacitor before it isolates it- providing a reservoir for repair.

Cell Responses to Dis-stress

Known as the inflammation process It is a protective attempt by the organism to remove the injurious stimuli as well as initiate the healing process for the tissue.. An inflamed cell is surrounded by fluid (oedema) to isolate itself from harming the other cells- BUT still able to receive electrons (not necessarily anti-oxidants)
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 123

Electrical Inflammation
When a cell is damaged the bodys selfregulating system calls on resources (assuming these are available) to increase its voltage to -50 mV after recharging it is isolated running on the power stored in its cell membrane. (like operating your computer on battery alone, disconnected from the mains).
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 124

Inflammation
If the cell completes its restoration process, i.e. the power is sufficient then the cell becomes recharged and the oedema disappears. However if the power is inadequate the voltage begins to drop with the diseases manifesting
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 125

The public is being informed that inflammation is a common denominator to virtually all chronic diseases. Inflammation is an energetic imbalance.

A further SCIO Contribution

Healing needs electrons (anti oxidants) Free & Mobile electrons can serve as anti-oxidants when present in sufficient quantities Hence: placement of harness over the area of injury for specific issues SCIO Contribution ? Double power: more volts, more and specific penetration ? In cancer where voltage is depressed??

Continued Inflammatory Response

The inflammatory response should be temporary When it is not Inflammatory pockets can persist for years Toxins are released that can travel Necrotic tissue breakdown products can leak via blood/lymph to anywhere Seyle tests> heart valve inflammation from distal inflammatory pouches (inflammatory pouch experiments)

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

132

So
Should we always review the need to treat chronic inflammation (in addition to general electron resource) BUT WHERE? Perhaps where there has been a difficult injury from the past that still niggles (so maybe real world client history is relevant to identifying possible locations of unresolved stress)

Part 4A Classical Nervous System

Brain, spinal chord (CNS), peripheral nerves (PNS- 31 spinal nerve pairs), ANS (12 cranial nerves) Detects and responds to changes within and outside Immediate response for homeostasis Digital and fast Part electrical (transmission along axons) Part chemical (across synapses- acetylcholine etc.)

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

142

Nerves maybe be V important for mental transmission

Subluxations interfere not only with nerve conduction but more importantly with the mental impulse. The mental impulse is unconscious, faster than nerve impulse, connecting our bodies with innate intelligence which is connected to the universal intelligence. R.W. Life is too rapid and subtle to be explained by slow moving chemical reactions and nerve impulses. ~Albert Szent-Gyrgyi
In other words, living systems have another nervous system that is much faster in conducting energy and information.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 144

Peri-neural Nervous System

BUT Myelin is crystalline> conductive All nerve cells have a casing- perineural (around nerves) So classical theory is missing half the information carrier The Peri-neural nervous system may be more ancient than the CNS. It is DC & reaches each innervated (nervally supplied) tissue It associates with repair

Part 4BSubtle Cell Communication

1.

Cell Membrane vibration creates a carrier wave of (millimeter-waves- 1-10mm, 36-70Ghz))

(so again to vibrate correctly there needs to be correct structure)

The subtle signals from the cells are transmitted on this carrier wave (similar to how a radio works) The path of least resistance is what we call meridians, and that appears to be where SCIO connects 2. Oschman lectures about the living matrix A world wide web The importance of the extra cellular matrix

Multiple Messaging
The phone company sends more than one conversation at a time over the same wire, which is accomplished by shifting each voice signal into different range of frequencies during transmission. Different systems have different mm carrier wave lengths
(Respiratory, circulation etc.)

Cell messages have a specific frequency and will only be heard by a resonant cell just like radio tuning. So do cells share with each other internally and how??

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

150

Multiple Messaging
There are several aspects including Carrier frequencies- it seems that different systems have different tuning carrier frequencies Cell activity related frequencies (different cells have different frequencies) Multiple simultaneous message transmission So cell messages have a specific frequency and will only be heard by a resonant cell. So do cells share with each other internally and how?? And what about the resonant effect?
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 151

Communication Coupling
Different organs have a different frequency They have the same basic electrical components- and in addition to electron/voltage control that have receiving antennae facility Parallel Tuned Circuits are used in radio and other electronics to couple Resonant Energy from one circuit to another in transmitters and receivers. This is the system used by the cell membrane and peripheral cytoskeleton to couple energy from cell to cell and into the cell.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 152

Communication Coupling
Radio receivers are made of the same componentswith a variable tuning knob. The receiver resonates at a particular frequency Stations whose frequencies are far off will not excite any response in the circuit. Stations whose frequencies are close will be heard a little R has to be small enough so that only one station at a time is picked up, but big enough so that the tuner isn't too touchy so cell construction is important to function.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 153

An analogy of how it works

Each radio station transmits a different frequency/wavelengththe signal is received by an antennae whose length matches the signal wavelength There are two choices in receiving: 1. A separate receiving wire for each wavelength 2. A variable wave length (wire length) received- like the tuning knob on your radio)
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 154

Off Frequencies

Most receivers have a band width >> you can hear quite clearly at 92.6, 92.7. 92.8 Hz but one will be clearer to a trainer ear >> it is reasonable that cells also have some bandwidth

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

155

DNA
DNA is also a capacitor- 2 strands of protein separated by space. The coil shape provides inductance- the tuning ability DNA communication frequency (DR Popp) is 390nM light So Does this give a foundation for the DNA SCIO stress balancing facilities?

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

156

Healthy- stress free- carrier waves?

These common structures contribute to widespread communication

It is a structure that is liquid Crystal and can facilitate coherent communication This structure is in many locations>>makes sense since everything has to communicate??? An important part is called connective tissue- and its importance is that there is multiple storage and communication within it

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

158

Part 4d Now the water bag or Connective Tissue

What is a human being? A human being is a container invented by water so that it can walk around!

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

159

Connective Tissue- Ground Substance

It is the whitish glossy sac that surrounds a lot Muscles -Bones -Internal organs Body cavities - Tendons - Ligaments It is everywhere- it connects to everything - it provides continuity Everything that goes into and out of cells goes through it It can be diffuse or watery depending on location Add hyaline and it becomes cartilage HENCE It is the ground substance- the sea for organs as well as the precursor to some structures
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 160

The Living Matrix

Because of all the fundamental activity Dr James Oschman calls the Ground Substance the living matrix. It has multiple aspects
collagen ground substance (hyaluronic acid, chondriotin sulfate, keratin sulfate, etc.) cytoskeleton (microtubules, microfilaments, microtrabeculae, actin, myosin) nucleus (DNA, histones) integrins-the connectors
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 161

The living matrix- the

extracellular matrix (connective tissue) is continuous with the cytoplasmic and nuclear matrix within every cell in the body.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 162

Where does the living matrix system interface with the nervous system? Answer: in every part of the nervous system

Part 5 Healing Stress Patterns

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

Stage 3- overload of self regulation

Within threshold > >>the organism will bring resources to bear e.g. via meridian system (5 element approach ) >>> no observable health disruption > the self regulating system is able to manage the situation Above threshold >>>the (healthy stress responding) self regulating pattern is disrupted >>> stress patterns become distorted and the response is unhealthy >>> reduced wellness signs (stress leaks) are seen.
171

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

What internal stress support

One transit mechanism is the meridian system The support is via the mother- son arrangement and by organs that The supports have two coupling aspects 1. Carrier wave matching (different mm wave length for different circuits) 2. Individual cell vibration If we mirror the internal repair mechanism we can help from outside

Electromagnetic Restoration- resonance

Resonance is the key & it is a dominatrix relationship! Electromagnetic fields synchronize with similar fields and the dominating field effects more What are the aspects of an electromagnetic field? Frequency Waveform Field strength You have more than 200 trillion cells, each with many molecules creating EMF based on the molecular speed A change in the cells` electromagnetic field manifests in an accordingly physical change, and visa versa

Electromagnetic Restoration

Frequency Waveform Field strength You have more than 200 trillion cells, each with many molecules creating EMF based on the molecular speed A change in the cells` electromagnetic field manifests in an accordingly physical change, and visa versa
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 176

What aspect is dominant for resonance?

Primary Frequency Secondary Waveform (shape) Amplitude/power

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

177

Element 1> Primary > Frequency

Frequency is a single value- how many peaks/troughs there are A frequency (pattern) match is generally most important if the frequency matches there will be an effect whatever the waveform Amplitude is the magnitude of change in the oscillating variablethis can be volts, amperes, power

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

178

Frequencies are Important

Organs and communications have frequencies (refer earlier slide) Interacting with the electrically charged ionosphere, giving a Schumann wave of app. 7,5 hz (Alpha waves) We are so adapted to this field, that we get sick from not being exposed to it The internal communication carrier wave has a specific frequency- 4.7 Ghz Heat is produced in water at 2.4 GHZ (m/wave, DECT/WiFi) Certain frequencies disturb- these also illustrate the effect of frequencies

Individual cell vibration rate characteristic of that specific cell cells transmit and have receivers so individual cells can resonate with each other AND Electromagnetic fields synchronize with similar fields and the dominating field effects more Benefit- very healthy cells can support weaker cells Downside- if one cell is ill and the others are weak then possibly the ill cell may have a strong pattern and take the weak cells down its stress path? What is the tuning process? Adaptation to the dominant field

If there are two violins in tune they resonate- perfect fields If there are two people talking you hear a synergy but adapt to one more When two slightly different waveforms meet the weaker one will adapt to the stronger- just like dominant personalities. So for correction we want a correct dominating field

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

186

What is the tuning process? Adaptation to the dominant field

If we put in a corretion field how do we know it is the right one? >> by feedback of the effect and adapting Hypothesis> this is one part of the SCIO adaptive/cybernetic feedback loop The treatment time is also important- initially the fields will move to an average> if left for longer then the dominant field will show its influence >with the internal field adjusting ??? Measured by ND resonance??? Dr John Kelsey PhD, IMUNE
Vice chancellor 187

SCIO Field Types

SCIO/EPFX can transmit through the harness a dominating field with the perfect field or an overcompensated field (different waveform and more than slightly different frequency?) or inverted electromagnetic field (cancels) or an (activity) stimulating field> wakes up activity

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

188

What Heals? What Destroys?

If the substance doesn't resonate? Substances dont have an effect when: 1. the frequency cannot resonate a cell (a complex spectrum of frequency patterns) 2. There is poor construction so the mechanism doesnt work 3. There is voltage deficiency- no resource to work with the information. 4. This additional characteristic lies behind the ability of certain items e.g. homeopathics, essential oils to work specifically, to have a defined effect.

Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor

189

Element 3- Secondary> Waveform Effects

All waveforms make an impact if the frequencies are corresponding with something in your body Soft sine waves are biological-like information which your cells can usually choose to be affected by or not Waveforms with high, pointy peaks will usually make an impact no matter what the frequency is >>>>>and that is the problem with electrosmog, mobile phones etc.! (a captive card that attaracts the patterns and removes the peaks seems to reduce the esmog effect by 95%) Biological activity is supported by a gentle form (sine wave, lack of sharp peaks) and low power.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 190

Waveforms
Different waveforms have different effects QXCI could only generate square waves SCIO/EPFX can generate many more- see SCIO Working panel Different waveforms on SCIO affect the results and are automatically adjusted based on the response
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 191

Two sides of the coin

Low hz fields can synch with molecular movement of different cells, brainwaves, etc. (se earlier slides) Microwaves can resonate with water, metal etc.>>> Millimeterwaves can synch with the cell-communication The same electrosmog parameters things that affect cells and communication EMF radiation can be a major factor in overloading your self correcting system

Wrong frequency and pattern>> harmful Correct frequency and pattern>> beneficial

Modern biophysical research has shown that tissues respond to very tiny energy fields of the appropriate frequency, intensity, and pulse shape. Inflammation can be resolved and healing can be stimulated with tiny microcurrents.
Dr John Kelsey PhD, ND IMUNE Vice chancellor 197

Field strength
The field strength is of minor importance if the frequencies are corresponding with something- provided they are not too strong! If the waveform has high sharp peaks, the influence gets bigger the higher the field-strength If the waveform is gentle and the frequencies doesn`t correspond with anything in your body, the field strength must be high to create problems
