I am an energetic and extroverted researcher and educator with an advanced academic background in sociology & economic development and professional experience in program development & gender policy-oriented research. I currently reside in Hanoi, studying for a PhD qualifying exam, informally (at the moment) planning an eventual dissertation on the NGO sector in developing economies and its interaction with and influence on policy direction. I am highly interested in Vietnam-based positions in these sectors for long-term employment, applying my many years of education and practical experience. Applicable skill-sets include qualitative organizational analysis, logic models, grant writing & communication and socio-economic research design & implementation.

Conducted state-by-state comparisons, a profile of the WI domestic violence shelter system, and a formal literature review of relevant research.
