Good Morning Sir/madam, First, I would like to thank you to give me chance to introduce myself. I am Sarmik Roy, I am basically from Tripura. Coming to my education I have done my SSC (10th) from N.S.V with second class . I have done my HSC (12th) from N.S.V with Second class . I have done my B.COM (H) (accounts) from Tripura university with second class . I am currently pursuing my professional degree (P.G.D.M) from MSM. Coming to my family, my father is an Business man at Pharmacy, Tripura. Coming to my hobbies are playing cricket, reading books.

Why should I hire you?

As, I am a fresher I do not have extra knowledge. But I have capability to work with full dedication and efforts. I am a quick learner and I am open to learn new things. I am very flexible and I have no restrictions regarding location or working hours. If you hire me, I will give my 100% to develop your company.

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

My strengths are sincerity, hard worker and adapt any environment, easily understanding any situation, quick learner, am not argue with other when I need not it.Weakness:Afraid of pending work.

Why do you want to work at our company?

Its my strong desire to work for a reputed company like yours. As I am a fresher I need a right platform to improve my skills and knowledge. So if you give me an opportunity, I will put all my efforts for the growth of your company.

What is the difference between confidence and over confidence?

Confidence is a ability to do something, encourage our inner quality and all about positive attitude. Over confidence is all about destroyed our aims and qualities, their is negative attitude.

What is the difference between hard work and smart work?

Hard work includes penetration of task which ever assigned to us and we go to depth of that thing to make sure completion of task from start to end it might take more time but it ensures good job and decreases the errors while smart work is done short duration to finish the task some time it can be effective but sometime it might result disaster.

How do you feel about working nights and weekends?

Working at nights and during weekends is like having a tough time. But if my work leads the company to a good profitable level, then I would be proud to work at any time for the benefit of the company.

Can you work under pressure?

Definitely sir, I can work under pressure because in this type of situation I can show my hidden ability to prove myself and it gives me idea to handle in different situation. It also gives opportunity to think in a different manner to develop myself.

Are you willing to relocate or travel?

Yes I am ready to relocate as per the needs and requirements of the company, on my personal front it will also help me develop myself as an individual by gaining knowledge about work culture and function of organization at various locations.

What are your goals?

My short term goal is to get a place and implement my skills and knowledge in a reputed company like yours and My Long Term goal is I should be an asset for whichever field I am working in.

What motivates you to do good job?

My Parents, they have given lots of efforts and sacrifices for my better future and now, I can say my parents are best in the whole world and now it is my tern, I needs to prove myself is the best son in the world.

What makes you angry?

When any person talks back of me that time I get angry and when people are cheating me by saying lies to me when the time of trusting them. And when people are not accepting their mistakes that time I get angry. Interrupting at the time of work.

Give me an example of your creativity.

Actually when we are doing the work at right time at right place it will be more creatively. If we are doing the same right work at either at wrong time or wrong place it will not impressive. But success put it beyond, the creativity depending upon way of thinking. If you think quite smart and differently the result will be good.

How long would you expect to work for us if hired?

Sir first of all I want to say about my goal. My goal is I want to become the manager of your company. If I want to become manager I should do hard and smart work. For doing hard and smart work I should stay for along period of time in your company i.e., up to my retirement. Hence if I want to become manager then I should stay for along period of time in your company. One more thing is reputation of your company. As your company is reputed, I want to stay in your company up to my retirement.

Are not you overqualified for this position?

No. Sir/madam I am not over qualified but I think I am enough qualified for this position. I am just a fresher and I don't have any experience and I am sure that this job will give me a good experience and enhance my skills.

Describe your ideal company, location and job.

Sir, In my opinion any company can be a ideal company if it the company and its employees helps each other in mutual development. And as far as location is concerned, when I am out for a job, location is not a constraint to me. And talking about job, the ideal job for me will be that job with which I can be happy while I am working.

What are your career options right now?

My career objective is to work with a reputed organization like yours and be an asset of that company where people recognize me with my name.

Explain how would be an asset to this organization?

As an entry level employee I have good theoretical knowledge, apart from that I am a quick learner, I can easily mingle with group and good commitment to the work. So now I am a liquid nature property, So you can mold me as your requirement. By these qualities surely I would be an asset to our company.

What are your outside interests?

My outside interest is in going for a family trip. When I am at home, I spend my spare time for decorating home. I spend some time for net surfing with my laptop. I am also interested in motivating newcomers.

Would you lie for the company?

Usually we lie when we need to hide something or conceal a fact which can prove to b a fatal for other person but if my lie is beneficial for company and I see no damage caused because of it, I think I can lie in that case.

Who has inspired you in your life and why?

Three things-My parents, who always support me and guide me. My girlfriend-who stands with me in every even and odds of my life. My mistakes that teaches me to beware next time.

What was the toughest decision you ever had to make?

The toughest decision that I had taken so far was whether to go for job or higher studies, I found it very difficult come to a conclusion, later I realized that job will get you in any time but higher studies wont, so finally I went for higher studies and cherished my dream.

Have you considered starting your own business?

As a fresher I don't think so. To be a good businessman 1st we must be a good employee. Now I want to be a good employee by improving my skills by taking some risks. After that basing on my interest I will think about it.

How do you define success and how do you measure up to your own definition?
According to me success is a self satisfaction which comes from the work we are doing. If we are really happy with our work.Than I will say it is success. Because both of these jobs are easy to say but very difficult to do. Yes I m happy with my work, but.I m trying to make it better.

If you won $10 million lottery, would you still work?

Yes of course I will continue in my work because while doing work I will get knowledge and.Experience from that which make me different from others and getting money is not important how to make use of it is make important and that perfectness of using of money is get by only knowledge and experience.Knowledge and experience is get from work only. !

Tell me something about our company.

Sir our company is a right platform for those who dedicate themselves in work and who wants to improve and sharpen their skills, knowledge as well as experience. And made them to think in an innovative manner which takes them into successful paths for bright future. And our company also brings the hidden talents of the candidates.

How much salary do you expect?

Salary is the matter of fact but being a fresher my 1st aim is ti enhance my skills and improve my knowledge with hard work that will help to attaining the goal of a company, prior to that I will expect a salary that is enough to meet economical standards in the city I will work.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Thank you sir for asking this question, in five years time, I will like to see my self growing with the company, playing a important role of a team leader, through the training, knowledge and experience gained to enhance the company productivity and reputation.

Sir I am not a right situation & I am not a right person to rate or judge you by giving some rating. You have vast knowledge & experience than mine. Since it is a part of my interview so I have to give a answer, I rate you 9.5 out of 10, because I feel so much comfortable in front of you. I deduct 0.5, as nobody is perfect in this world, there always is a chance or scope of improvement.

Why did you resign from your previous job?

I am very thankful of my previous organisation because I have learnt many thing from there. I thinks that changes are necessary for me to enhance our skill, knowledge and personal growth and your company is good platform where I can learn things.

Why have you been out of work so long?

Due to some family problem I had to resign from my previous job and thereafter it took a long time to recover everything in normal shape. As I realized that I can interview again so I decided to give interviews.

Why have you had so many jobs?

Though I have changed lot of jobs but due to this I have learn different set of skills. And these skills help me a lot in dealing with different kinds of children and people. It show negativity on my part but my skills and learning ability have increased.

Tell me about a situation when your work was criticized.

See every one who joins any organization first time he somehow criticized but as we now success always behind failure. So overcome failure vt positive approach and get success!

Could you have done better in your last job?

I have done all my given assignments with my 100% efforts and knowledge. Some how, in some condition I felt that I can do better up to my expectations this because no body is 100% perfect.

Tell me about the most boring job you have ever had.
I never thought about my job as boring, because I have just entered in this corporate world, if I have bored with my job I definitely not survive in this world. If we perform our given task with interest we definitely got better output insist of taking as a boring.

Yes sir Why not, You can Contact to my present employer but not right now, as he is not aware with my job search. Once I selected you can, I am confident that You will get positive response.

How many hours a week do you normally work?

Sir actually there are no such considerations in my view about work. We should complete our work with passion and joy, not with deadlines and considerations. I know that Time management is also important. More than that We have only one life, all things are important in life. So I use every 24 hours for everything and anything. And I hope I will be up to your expectations.

What was the toughest challenge you have ever faced?

Everyday is a new day full of challenges. We cannot categories which one will be the toughest one. Whatever it is we have to overcome it with our positive attitude and sensing the problem in the right way.

Have you been absent from work more than a few days in any previous position?
Sir actually I don't want to escape from my responsibilities, I like to contribute myself as possible as I can in the part of success of my company. Only I absent a few days when the situation demands and urgent.

What changes would you make if you came on board?

First of all I understand the company goals and environment, if there is any changes needed than I will change by taking suggestions from the respected experienced person for effective results. Apart from that if no changes needed than I will give my best to the company as a board member.

What would you say to your boss if he is crazy about an idea, but you think it stinks?
The idea can go wrong for some but might be the best in world for my manager's point of view. In such situation, I will try so that my manager can have a look on the idea from an all around perspective also. There is a possibility that some better idea might come up due to this process.

How could you have improved your career progress?

Sir, The question asks me how could I have improved my career progress. But the thing is each and every day I feel it is a new learning for me. There is lot of challenges that we face everyday and learn from them. Thus I am always improving my career in a steady way. Looking back I feel satisfied when I explore myself I can say I have changed most of my -ve into +ve and still working toward some other way to improve it.

Tell me honestly about the strong points and weak points of your boss (company, management team, etc.)
Sir, everyone holds their good and bad points and that makes them human. Talking about good sides, my boss holds qualities like hardworking, open minded and eager to learn, and he helped me to learn many things. He shared his vast experience with us. Sir, I would not be the right person to judge the negative sides of my boss as I have never been to his shoes.

Looking back on your last position, have you done your best work?
My previous performance in my last job was outstanding and attracted both employees & management to me. However, my better days and better performances are ahead. My previous performance will be nothing compared to my new level of commitment & hard work if given opportunity.

Why should I hire you from the outside when I could promote someone from within?
I Would like to say that if you are conducting interview for this particular position it means the organisation requires someone new from outside the organisation.That's why I'm sitting in front of you for this position.

How do you feel about reporting to a younger person?

For me my work is important, I don't bother to whom I'm reporting to, whether he/she is younger or old older, to me everybody are the employees so it will not effect my work. I see the talent in between them, that is why he is respectable. I feel comfortable.

Looking back, what would you do differently in your life?

We really can't change our past but get lot of things to learn from the mistakes we have made in our past. So we can avoid those mistakes in future & be prepare for better future.

Why are not you earning more money at this stage of your career?
I have a big dream for myself so of course Money is a priority for me but as I am a fresher, right now I just want to focus on the job I have been given & want to perform it in best way I can.
