Increased interest and learning achievement of civic education learning With STAD cooperative learning models IVB class student of SDK Ganjuran. Skripsi. This study aims to determine (1) How applying cooperative learning models Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type in civic education subjects can be increase interest and learning achievement IVB student of SDK Ganjuran, school year 2012/2013, (2) Whether the application of cooperative learning models Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type in civic education subjects can be increase interest and learning achievement IVB student of SDK Ganjuran, school year 2012/2013. This research is a classroom action research which uses cycle model of Kurt Lewin who each cycle consisting of planning, implementation of the action, obsercation and reflection. This study was conduted in two cycles in 16th April 3rd May 2013. Subjects in this study were all students of SDK Ganjuran in IVB class which amounts to 24 students. This study uses a STAD cooperative learning models which consists of 4 steps, that is class presentation / explanation, team work, quizzes, and awards. Instruments and data collection techniques that is used in this study is a questionnaire and observation to determine student interest and written tests to measure of student learning achievement. Research instruments that will be used first tested for validity and reliability through the expert judgment and which uses SPSS 16.0 calculations. The obtained data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Research results show an increase in interest and learning achievement IVB class student of SDK Ganjuran in Civic Education subjects by using the application of STAD cooperative learning models. Increased student interest shown by the results of an average score of student interest at the beginning before the study was conducted, is 65,83 increased in the first cycle to 74,74 and rose again in the second cycle is 82.60. Increase student achievement indicated by the results of the previous average value student is 57,65. With the percentage of students who reached the KKM is 39.13%, increased to 69.58 with the percentage of students who reached the KKM is 70.83% in the first cycle and increased to 80.41 with the percentage of students who reached the KKM is 87.50% in the second cycle. Based on the results of the obtained data it can be concluded that the application of STAD cooperative learning models can be increase interest and learning achievement civic education of IVB student of SDK Ganjuran Key word: interests, academic achievement, STAD cooperative learning models.
