Speed glue effect is achieved by the organic volatile solvents in glue. As the use of speed glue became widespread,
the noxious character of the substance was recognised and less harmful alternatives were sought. In their quest for
a safer product, DONIC developed their DESTO Series in 1998.

FORMULA DONIC rubbers have been designed to achieve the same effect as speed glued rubbers but strictly with-
out the use of harmful solvents. FORMULA DONIC rubbers are absolutely safe and will not fall foul of new ITTF
regulations. DONIC continue to expand their FORMULA DONIC series. The excellent QUATTRO, DESTO, COPPA and
SONEX rubbers already exist in different versions.

Even before a speed glue ban is enforced, DONIC, as the first of the top brands, offers already
