    During this session, the presenters will share five ways to get started with Common Core implementation. The focus will be how school librarians can be experts in the skills and resources needed to make Common Core implementation successful. The session will cover an overview of ways to be the expert in five critical areas related to common core. Participants in this session will be involved in the presentation through fun demonstrations and frequent sharing time. The session hopes to remove some of the fear associated with the possibility of implementing the "new" standards. Presented at the 2013 Kansas Library Conference by Michelle Hudiburg & Delaina Brown
