In BHEL, Y-shape fitting are used for steam lines. In my project, determined the optimum angle for Y-shape fittings based on minimum pressure loss and manufacturing reliability. And also determined the loss co-efficient factor for Y-shape fitting. ACADEMIC RECORD:
