The prime objective of this study is to determine the effectiveness of Dengue prevention program in the level of knowledge and practice of selected residents in Bagong Silang A, Queensrow, Bacoor City. This research study was undertaken among 15 families residing in Bagong Silang A, Queensrow, Bacoor City. The programs and the questionnaires about Dengue prevention were adapted from the Department of Health. The effectiveness of Dengue prevention programs in the level of knowledge and practice of the residents were determined using a pre- test and a post- test of 13 item researcher- developed questions determining the level of knowledge and another 13 items in determining the level of practice. The researchers implemented the programs, monitored the subjects compliance and understanding for 6 weeks. This study utilized quasi experimental non-randomized pretest and posttest design. type of research design and non- probability sampling. Descriptive analysis used percentage frequency distribution and measure of central tendency. Inferential analysis made use of T- test, F- test, and Duncan Mean Range Test. This study showed that the level of knowledge of the respondents before the implementation of the programs was high and their level of practice were low. But after 6 weeks of continuous monitoring and follow-ups, both their level of knowledge and practice showed very high level of result.

To enhance or continue the very high level of knowledge and practice on Dengue prevention programs, the respondents should be able to share and disseminate what had been taught to them to other members and should have an active community participation towards Dengue control program.
