    AFFIRMATIVE -Last night I played games online for about two hours.

    when the verb ends in e just add d: likeliked/ use used when the verb ends in consonant + y the y disappears and you add ied: trytried / carry carried / cry cried when the verb ends in consonant + vowel + consonant you must repeat the last consonant and add ed: travel travelled (but not all the verbs suffer this transformation!!)
