FRONT PAGE PICTURE
The picture on the front of this issue of the
"Proceedings" was taken by a person who does not
want their name revealed yet. The picture was sub-
mitted to us by Robert C. Gardner of 1817 Jackson
Street, San Francisco 9, California.
The picture taken around noon of October
of 1956 (After Quarles denial). The direc-
tion is looking easterly, from a hilltop, toward
Oakland. This picture has been labelled the "TWin
Peaks" picture.
Bob Gardner knows who took the picture and will
not reveal the name to anyone, as the party re-
quested. Bob has just completed a series of lec-
tures in Los Angeles and has been lecturing on
spacecraft for the past five years. Bob has a
motion picture which he states definiely shows
flying discs. We not yet seen this movie.
Anyone desiring an S"XlO" print of this picture
can address their request to Bob Gardner, enclosing
60, and receive one by mail.
Please do not address these requests to us as
we do not handle the pictures.
NEW BOOK
"Ric" Williamson's new book is now available. It
is called "Other Tongues- Other Flesh". "Ric" brings
out some previously undisclosed data and touches on
the Hunrath Case. The book is well done and should
be part of every space enthusiast's library.
The book may be obtained by ordering from the
Amherst Press, Amherst, Wisconsin. Ray Palmer is

"MENGER STORY IN DOUBT"
The January-February 1957 issue of a Detroit Flying
Saucer publication called "The Visitor" has a short
article on page two entitled "Contact Story In Doubt".
Then it proceeds to state that "the Howard Menger
(Flemington, N.J.) contact story widely circulated
throughout the country, is now being questioned and
discounted by a number of sources." The foregoing is
a reprint from the Civilian Saucer Intelligence News-
letter of New York City.
First the title says the story is in doubt. Then
it offers one source that says it is Menger's pic-
tures, not the story.
The article goes on to quote from the New York
saucer publication second hand information derived
from a single individual who has established in his
mind his own opinion that the pictures were real
enough, but that they were snapshots of "paintings
which illustrated saucer scenes". Then the article
says in parentheses that "Menger is a sign painter",
implying to the confused minds of some readers that
Menger painted the pictures.
All of the statements are attributed to one
"Alonzo Dove, former astronomical consultant of the
International Flying Saucer Bureau", whatever that is.
This adds prestige of title and "scientific identity"
to the article and individual.
Then this "astronomical consultant" goes on to
say, "Howard Menger will make a better living back
on his job of sign painting, unless his brushwork
photography fools more people than I hope it does."
This is the Qnly statement that the "consultant"
made that is even half true. Howard hasn't made any
money from his contact, 2r pictures. Chances are
that the "consultant" never or talked
with Howard Menger and his wife Rose. He arrived at
his conclusions like so many titled experts do, by
"pure" brain power.
I refute this "astronomical consultant" and give
these reasons that qualify me to put his egotistical
opinion back in his teeth.
I personally talked with seven people who talked
with the space people in Howard Menger's back yard.
I personally know three other witnesses that made
another contact with Howard and his wife.
I personally .talked with many residents of High-
bridge, N.J. (not Flemington, N.J.) who saw the
ship come to Earth behind the Menger's home.
In my contact with the four men who landed here on
August 2 4 ~ of 1953, they gave me information which
they told me to use as a "key" to establish authentic,
or phoney, contactees in the future. Howard Menger
used the words of this "key" properly and correctly.
Howard also described correctly and in detail
certain data relative to the interior of the ships
and their power methods that cannot be done by a
phoney.
There are "experts" and "authorities" by the
dozens with their noses sniffing into the saucer
stories.
Those of us who have talked with these visitors and
messengers cannot be-llnauthenticated by the experts,
brass, or titled brains to eacn other, or the many
people who have come out of the hypnosis of Satan's
roost.
There are, on the other hand, several anti-saucer
organizations disguised as saucer research groups.
Their only effort is to discount everything that the
"hush-hush" group find is authentic.
There is an effort being made, that receives
plenty of publicity, to organize all the saucer clubs
into a national organization. Beware of this attempt
by the "divide and rule" boys to get your saucer club
on its list of members. You can smell this one from
way out here in California.

All saucer publications that are authentic pro-
saucer papers should try to avoid printing opinions
of "consultants" , or other titled people, who have
only formed an opinion with their logic on this vast
subject which is outside of logic.
Personally, I'll take Howard and Rose Menger on
my side when the big fight starts.
MIND, MATTER AND MOHONS
Ignorance can only exist where intelligence is not
allowed to be. In the scale of our modern bureaucratic
setup, where brains are recognized by the rank of
military uniform, or position of public office only,
there is little chance for intelligence to fully
express itself.
The brain is only the "radio" receiver of the mind.
In order to express intelligent motion in matter, the
mind expresses through the brain control center of the
physical body.
The mind can transmit and the brain receive when
the body is in a sleep state and cannot respond. Matter
is only energy condensed under the pressure of in-
dividual mind expression.
Morons are the result of a poor brain receiver.
Mind pressure will express through any and all outlets.
Intelligence is not an expression of quantity of mind,
but is rather a quality. A small leak of mind through
the brain of a moron may be more intelligent than a.
speech lasting hours, coming through the "storm drain"
brain of a recognized intellect.
Class can only recognize the particular expressions.

express their self importance to a moron without the
moron's recognition of it. On the other hand, a
particular class will immediately recognize the ex-
pressions of a moron.

The One Universal Mind does not accept any difference
the intelligence uttered by an idiot and the
1gnorance expressed by an intellect. The of
rank,_uniform, office does nothing expand
the m1nd of the 1nd1v1dual. The individual mind is only
that portion of the Universal Mind which the individual
can express.

recogn1zed by the moron as symbols of intelligence.
The brain hides from most individuals who, and where,
they were before, and what their previous lives were
like. The mind knows, but a 360 mind cannot express
itself through a 1 brain. The 1 opening causes mind
pressure to increase velocity to the extent that the
brain burns out. Then we have another expert, or
authority.
The present bureaucracy is a. good example of burn-
ed out brains. Cause and effect, universal laws, the
Ten Commandments, and all practical intelligence are
not recognized by these authorities. unless it _fits the
present pattern of milking munitions from the golden
calf, while the tax payers fork in the baled green
stuff.

because she can't digest the credit, the boys up front
in authority are yelling because someone forgot to
clean out the stable.
Morons are harmless, as a general rule, until they
get into authority through brain alley.
Mind will go right on functioning to the same old
rules of cause and effect, in spite of depression,
boom, or war.
Matter is the excess energy brought into density of
brain and body to reflect the conditions that mind
would not permit to spoil its perfection.
World chaos of economy, military, and delinquency,
are the results of intelligence being excluded by
ignorance.

TIME, MOTION AND BEING
Motion, in time, is relative to the limits of the
body in motion. If this were not true, nature would
have destroyed the universe a long time ago.
The eternal qualities are the still, motionless
matrix of time, space, and being. Things in motion
change and things that change are not eternal in any
one pattern of form.
"T" is the symbol of time.

is the symbol of space.
"B" is the symbol of being.

Division of eternal things is what creates oppo-
sites.

Life Death
Cycles are repetitions of the divisions. All
divisions of opposites reach a fulcrum pinnacle of
stillness, at times. Everything in the universe comes
under one, or the other, of the three aspects of
infinity. That which can bring these three aspects
into one is in perfect balance.
Each of the opposites cycles an interchange with-
in itself like a swinging pendulum.
Here becomes there as soon as you cross the street,
and there becomes here. As you register your own
changes in time, tomorrow becomes today as the Earth
revolves on its axis, and today was tomorrow yester-
day.
Life and death also interchange, so that being
may manifest through the action. This in itself is
proof that you have always been and always will be.

The old expressi on, "Time heals all thingsw is
as erroneous as s aying "the Sun comes up, or sets".
The ability to forget, in time, may heal some-
thing such as sorrow. Forgiveness is forgetness.
Time cannot be a dimension, as Einstein tried
to prove, because everything in motion in time will
never repeat itself again exactly as it was before.
Be-ing is to manifest substance in form to con-
form to the requirements of an environment you are
in at the moment. Death is the requirement of
change from living in one environment to living in
a different environment.
If you could be not, then you could not be now,
because now was then befor-e you arrived here from
there. You !! all the time, even when your body
sleeps. The real you never sleeps, although it
rests at the peak of the fulcrum in the interchange
between the opposites of life and death.
Flesh is only matter you assimilate as a require-
ment of this dense Earthly condition. Flesh moves
only because your real body moves it . Your matter
body of flesh is not going to walk, or talk, after
you get out of it. Death can only manifest in matter.
This is the interchange that permits it to return
to what it was before you assimilated it in form.
That portion of space which is you, will always
be in time somewhere. Expressing life here now is
really-ae6th"there then, when you observe-from the
opposite of
The trinity of time, space, and being are the
deity called God.

West coast to Vancouver, B .C., and back, in the last
two weeks in March. Those groups who can arrange for
publicity, and a hall, please write us by return mail
so that we can co-ordinate our plans and inform you
when we will be in your locality.

CONVENTION DATA
Opening acts for the Fourth Annual Spacecraft
Convention will be "flag drop" parachute jumps by
two of Hollywood's top stunt men. These jumps will
be at 10::00 A.M . both days, Saturday and Sunday,
May 111.11. and 121h.
The stunt men are Cliff Rose and Hal Needham.
They have just finished the stunt scenes in the
movie "The Spirit of St. Louis".
Jim Lee of Abilene, Texas, will be broadcasting
a running account of the Convention by short wave
from Giant Rock Airport. Radio hams who wish to may
get in touch with Jim on 3950 K.C. On Monday nights
at 9:30 C.S . T. a group of hams have an "Interplane-
tary Space Patrol" Club and discuss recent sight-
ings of U.F.O& Jim's address is 620 Cedar St.,
Abilene, Texas.
Sunday being "Mother's Day", a prize will be
given to the oldest and youngest mothers attending.
Top entertainment will feature C. Prof. Ne-Leh,
one of the world's outstanding mentalists and
magicians.
Many new photographs of spacecraft, taken by
people all over the world, will be on display.
Efforts are being made to get several color motion
pictures of spacecraft that have never been shown
publicly before. bne of these pictures is of a
spaceship less than a hundred yards from the
camera.
Many changes at Giant Rock Airport will be
apparent to those who attended last year's conven-
tion. A permanent speaker's stand and another mile
long runway have been added since the last conven-
tion.
The main road into Giant Rock is off the Victor-
ville road, which intersects the Twentynine falms
highway one mile east of Yucca Valley, California.

The coming of the messengers and hosts of the
other planets and densities into our skies, in great-
er numbers, precludes the coming of even greater
events.
On Saturday, February the 16111, at 4 :20 A.M.
Eastern Standard time, the sky was suddenly lighted
more than "ten times brighter than normal daylight".
This lighting effect covered an area of many of the
New England states.
The broadcast of this data over radio was not
printed in any of the Los Angeles area newspapers
that we read for several days after the phenomena.
Science could not explain the phenomena, accord-
ing to the newscasts.
Just two years ago, in the February, 1955 issue
of "Proceedings", we wrote an article on the pheno-
mena that has just occurred. Read again the story
on page three in that issue of the "Proceedings".
I quote several of the paragraphs from that article:
"We cannot say when - but soon the people of
Shan (the Earth) shall see a "star" come out of the
sky and light the night."
"It is very possible they shall make a test run
through the atmosphere of Shan. In this event your
astronomers will report our passage as a comet."
Scientists did say it must have been a comet,
although they admitted they-fiever recorded anything
like it before.

From Hawaii comes a report of a similar occurr-
ence. On December 1st, 1956, something lit up t .he
top of the Mauna Loa volcano. A steady glow was
seen from two to four o:clock in the morning.
The last time Mauna Loa erupted was in 1950. A
group of people ascended the volcano after the
glow had ceased and found no sign of volcanic
activity that would account for the brilliant glow.
Natives who were questioned after witnessing the
incident would only shake their heads and murmur
"Aqualele, which in Hawaiian means, "flying God".
Nothing was seen in the newspapers about this un-
usual occurrence either.
And he saith unto him, Verily,Verily, I say
unto you, Hereafter ye shall heaven open,
and the angels of God ascending and descend-
ing upon the Son of man.

The hush-hush group are apparently trying to pre-
vent the public from hearing about the Convention
and attending. No publicity yet.

LONG JOHN

"WHO IS LONG JOliN? Long John is the UFO' s best
friend in the United States today. Long John conducts
a unique radio forum from 1:00 to 5:30 A.M., seven
days a week, on Mutual's station WOR in New York. In
a few months time a miracle has happened for UFO.
Long John's program has metamorphosed from a disc-
jockey program into the World's most broad-minded
public forum on what Long John calls "Off-Beat"
subjects: Flying Saucers, UFO, reincarnation, occult-
ism, extra-sensory perception, psycho-kenesis
in short: the "borderland" sciences.
WHAT IS THE PARTY-LINE?" Long John calls his program
"The Party Line", and it is in reality almost that
very thing. Guests of the Party Line sit in informal
groups, munch crackers and drink coffee, around a
big table loaded with microphones, in a, building full
of glowing transmitter tubes, flickering lights,
fluctuating meters and big copper coils. They hold
completely uninhibited bull-sessions on topics not
usually given time on the air. Red neon lights flutter
and blink on the phones; L-J answers and party-liners
as far away as Canada and Illinois (Florida too)
join in the lively discussions. Within the bounds of
propriety, ~ o holds or topics are barred. There are
now an estimated- 1,500,000 UFO party-liners, and
fan mail often runs to several hundred letters a day.
Pillow cuddlers are staying awake until dawn, main-
taining the "High Watch" and hearing their pet sub-
jects propounded and Ufology has come into ~ t s
own.
1:00 to 5:30 A.M.. For decades, nobody wanted for
radio the small hours of the morning, when turmoil
has died and the cosmos makes itself felt to intro-
spective minds. Yet, these hours are ideally suited
to study and investigation and discussion of UFO and
all the cosmic subjects which have been crowded off
the air by commercials. So--Long John converted the

psychic hours into a great gift to Ufology, contri-
buting much to the gre at resurgence of UFO interest
in the winter of 1956-57. Here, at last, is what
e very Ufologist has dreamed about:. Frank, public and
