Augustine Church, Barberton, OH) (October 20, 2013)

Twenty-Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. (Ps. 121:2) Who is the widow (the poor, the exploited, or marginalized) person in your/our community who is pleading for justice today? How are you/we responding as disciples of Jesus? Who or what helps you to persist in prayer? What results have you experienced because of persistent prayer? If you are still waiting for those results, what sustains your patience?

to a half-day conference on Saturday Morning, November 9, 2013 featuring Father Mike McCandless of Borromeo and St. Mary Seminaries. As men, as husbands, as fathers or grandfathers of teenagers, or as boys learning to be men in these fast-paced times, we are all faced with life challenging hurdles. We expect more this year. So, there is Limited space: register now. Begins with 8:00am Mass, breakfast and lunch included, 1:15 pm dismissal. To register, send all name(s) and contact information, with a check payable to Sacred Heart of Jesus ($10 men/$5 boys) to Mark Smith, 737 Crestwood Avenue Wadsworth, OH 44281.
