T The Homecoming parade was a huge h su uccess. As every yone prepares to o get re eady for homeco oming, cadets were p preparing for the parade. Everybo ody w was nervous and busy trying to have h e everything ready for the special o occasion. The pa arade was a lot better b th han expected and the cadets mad de a sp pectacular debut t. For the most part p it w was a great way to t start off the ye ear; w we have new and d excited cadets re eady to learn. Fo or some this has been th heir first parade, , but for the senior c cadets, it would be b their last.

The c cannon crew is i student lead d team that co onsists of orga anized and di isciplined cad dets. Cannon c crew has 3 gu un crews! The e canno on itself is a replica of a civ vil war canno on. The entire team is three e people per c crew and one commander. The cannon crew fires the cann non in celebra ation for every y time our va arsity football team scores a touchdown as well as the e national anding of the army a core val lues and insti lls patriotism m in the cadets s that participate within anthem. T This year the wildcat batta alion had the honor h to p participate in the annual JR ROTC Swim meet.

The saber team did an excel llent job perfo orming at the e homecomin ng game! With h short notice e and little practice time saber r team pulled d it off. If it wasnt for saber r team, we w would have n never had a great t halftime show. Congrat ts to Braden Gant (commande er of saber te eam) for maki ing JROTC a wonderful debut to The halftime sho ow.

C Congrats to Christopher C Mayorga M for be eing on the w winning 1st place p team. Ov ver all it was a huge s successes and d the cadets en njoyed the ch hallenging eve ent.

"Welcom me back wildcat ts! This year in JROTC should d be outst tanding year du ue to the huge changes c within the prog gram. I believe we w will have a great g year from m the outstanding perform mance from our r drill teams to cannon crew c coming ba ack within in th he program. We e have a new instructor r in our program m (1SG David Pectol) he h is now curren ntly teaching th he LET 1s, 1SG G Pectol will w have a good impact on the program p and is s a big part p of the huge success we hav ve starting the year off. 1SG Simmon ns has been moved up to the position of senior instru uctor, I believe because of this 1SG Sim mmons will lead this program into glory for the year rs to come. SFC C Cooper who has h been in this program m for a little over four years, cu urrently teaches s the LET T 2s, He is an outstanding o instructor that is dedicate ed to this program. Color guard is a gro oup of selecte ed the cadets who perform m at formal ceremonies to prese ent and rescin nd the colors, they are also o an honorable e part of f drill team fr rom which the e cadets are selected. Unar rmed drill team m is a gr roup of cadets s that perform m regulation a and exhibition n without para ade rifles; they focus on n custom mov vements of ba asic drill. Arm med drill team m n and exhibiti ion with parad de rifles; they y focus on conducts regulation custom m moments w with the parade e rifle such as s spinning.
