Job Responsibilities; Prepare documents and implementing Integrated Management System (IMS) Provide assistance to the HSE Manager on his daily activities. Involvement in developing HSE plans and procedures required for the project (e.g. Project HSE Plan, Construction Environmental Management Plan, Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan, Spill Response Plan and various site specific HSE Procedures). Full implementation of Companys Health, Safety and Environment standards to all site personnel, visitors and subcontractors. Assist site engineers and supervisors for developing safe working procedures and methodologies. Participate to scheduled weekly safety walk-through/thru and meeting with client representative to identify potential workplace hazards and developing effective mitigation controls. Develop emergency preparedness response drills/exercises schedule and ensures it is carried out in an effective manner. Develop and conduct internal training on HSE matters on regular interval to create safety awareness on personnel at site and offices. Ensures HSE non-conformances, unsafe conditions and activities are monitored and communicated to management/responsible person for appropriate actions required. Maintain and keep records of all HSE related documentation of the project for audit, improvement and other legal requirements purposes. Participate or assist in the accident/incident and near miss investigation/reporting process and recommend effective corrective action required to avoid recurrence.

 Conduct periodic inspections of the companys welfare facilities and assist managers and supervisors in complying Health, Safety and Environment requirements. Assist Supervisors and Foremen in delivering Pre-task briefings to the workforce on the control measures identified in risk assessments Ensures high risk activity is covered by a valid work permit and hazard mitigation controls are identified and adhered to. Able to execute Risk Assessment. Conduct Tool Box Talk, Safety Induction and other Training Classes Prepare documents for ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 Audit Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness Prepare Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reports Reviewing, documenting and recommending safety standards and processes Providing advice and guidance for correct identification of hazards and risk evaluation for all work activities. Keeping Management aware of current standards for HSE control. Attending weekly HSE meetings and providing advices, supports as required. Coordinate with government representative in all HSE issues. Ensure all applicable standards and legislations are fully implemented. Monitor HSE compliance and communicate with the management. To ensure that personal protective equipment are in working condition and being used by workers in hazardous situations in order establish a Safe System of Work. To co-ordinate and motivate the workers through Safety Education and training programs, in order to develop a positive Safety Culture amongst the workers and induce a Behavior Based Safety.
