2011-12

1- Bachillerato
Article 21 of Decree 416/2008, which establishes the teaching standards and regulations for Bachillerato develops the following lines:

a) Reinforcement Programmes for students who promote to 2nd year of Bachillerato with failed subjects from Bachillerato 1.
Article 10 of the Order 5/8/2008 develops the curriculum for Bachillerato, establishing that students who didnt pass one or two subjects in the previous year will follow a reinforcement programme to overcome the contents not acquired as yet. For such reason, the Departments of Didactic Coordination will elaborate that programme so the student can deepen into the subject which will be evaluated the current year. If the subject exists with the same name in Bachillerato 2nd year itll be that teacher who will be in charge of evaluating the subject failed.

b) Curricular adaptations, support and specific educational attention and avoidance of certain subjects for students with special educational needs.
Article 11 of the Order 5/8/2008 which develops the curriculum for Bachillerato establishes that curricular adaptations are a measure for attention to diversity which implies work on certain elements of the curriculum, modifying them so the student gets appropriate educational response different from the ordinary measures due to special educational needs or high intellectual skills. Curricular adaptations will be suggested and elaborated by the educational team, with the coordination of the tutor and assessment from the Counselling Department These adaptations will include the subjects which will be applied, their methodology, organization of contents and evaluation criteria. The results of evaluations will be labelled in the academic record with X in the square with the name of AC. MEASURES FOR THE ATTENTION TO DIVERSITY, BACHILLERATO

2011-12

Article 12 of Order 5/8/2008 which develops the curriculum for Bachillerato establishes that when curricular adaptations are not considered enough to reach the objectives in that adapation the student will be allowed to study that curriculum split up into several years of Bachillerato. For this fragmentation, the counselling department should inform favourably, as well as the Provincial Delegation. This decision, if finally passed, will be registered in the academic record of the student. The first part will be applied to core and optional subjects, the second part will be constituted by modality subjects. Students who go for the fragmentation of subjects in Bachillerato will be allowed to be in Bachillerato for as long as 6 years.

Article 13 of the Order 5/8/2008 which develops the curriculum in Bachillerato establishes that when all the measures previously mentioned are not enough it could be considered the chance that the student does not take either partially or completely a certain subject in the curriculum. The subjects which can be avoided are Physical Education and Foreign Languages. In order to be awarded that exention, schools will send a request from the student, accompanied by reports of the Counselling Department, educational inspection and a medical report to the department concerned in the Provincial Delegation. This exention is expressed with EX in the square for the subject implied. Additionally, Order 31st January 2011, BOJA 17th February 2011, which regulates convalidations of of language studies in Secondary Educatoin determines that any student with A.2 CEFR (Trinity ISE-0, KET Cambridge ESOL or 2nd year of EOI) may request from the school, in the month of September, not to study English for the 2 years in Bachillerato.
