En Planho estamos especializados en edificios en los que las componentes funcional y tcnica tengan relevante complejidad, nuestro principal punto de accin son las Infraestructuras Hospitalarias en todos sus aspectos, planificacin, ordenacin, reforma, mejora y nueva construccin, aunque tenemos importantes intervenciones en edificios de Investigacin Biomdica y en edificios Universitarios. Nuestro campo de accin se ha desarrollado fundamentalmente en el mbito pblico.

Planho is a company specialized in buildings with an important functional and technical complexity. Our main line of action is Hospital Infrastructure in general: planning, management, reforms, improvement and new construction. Cuando queda agotada la capacidad fsica del edificio hospitalario, la Planificacin y Reordenacin funcional es la herramienta bsica para la reinterpretacin y el futuro desarrollo del edificio.

La intervencin parcial en el hospital para adaptarlo a las nuevas necesidades es algo Habitual. Evaluacin del conjunto, funcionalidad, integracin y compatibilidad con la actividad asistencial son las claves de Planho en estas actuaciones.

En los ltimos aos las instituciones pblicas han demandado nuevos edificios para las nuevas lneas de investigacin Biomdica. Planho ha intervenido activamente en la gnesis y argumentacin conceptual de los mismos.

Planho va ms all de la definicin del edificio para asegurar, mediante el diseo de espacios interiores y la integracin del equipamiento que la percepcin del usuario alcanza las expectativas mas altas en cuanto a confort, diseo y calidad de los espacios.

En Planho los edificios universitarios son un mbito de trabajo nuevo y novedoso donde hemos podido contrastar que, salvando el grado de complejidad tecnolgica, hay principios bsicos de organizacin comunes a los edificios hospitalarios.

Planho ha elaborado estudios y proyectos sobre distintas tipologas de edificios administrativos, dndonos la oportunidad de investigar sobre el espacio de trabajo individual y colectivo en relacin a aspectos arquitectnicos bsicos como son el confort, funcionalidad y flexibilidad... teniendo muy presente los aspectos energticos y la continua renovacin tecnolgica de sus espacios. Planho has developed studies and projects on different types of administrative buildings, giving us the opportunity to research on architecture of individual and collective workspaces. The most important values are comfort, functionality and flexibility; as well as the energy efficiency and the technological advances.

When the physical capacity of the Hospital Building is completed, the Planning and Reordering of Functions is the best way for the future development of the building.

Actually, Hospitals have new needs and it is necessary to adapt the buildings frequently. The keys to success are functionality, integration, overall evaluation and compatibility with the assistance activity.

Recently Public Institutions have requested new buildings for the new ways of biomedical research. Planho has been involved in the beginnings and development of the design of these buildings.

In order to reach the highest expectations of comfort, design and quality of spaces by the users, Planho create interior spaces where the medical equipment are integrated into the ambient.

Universities Architecture is a new working line. Planho has could contrast that there are issues in common with hospitals; for example functional values.

Hospital Campus de la Salud. Granada

El edificio se enfrenta a dos grandes condicionantes; un entorno privilegiado, y el carcter especial de un edificio de esta tipologa y envergadura. A este anlisis, responde generando dos grandes zonas que dialogan entre si, por un lado, las reas clnicas y de apoyo, organizadas en torno a un patio central, por otro, las reas ambulatorias y hospitalarias, que ocupan los brazos emergentes que se abren a las imponentes vistas de la ciudad y Sierra Nevada.

The building is confronted by two great determining factors; a privileged environment, and the special character of a building of this typology and importance. To this analysis, it responds generating two big zones that dialogue among themselves; on one side, the clinical and support areas, organised around a central patio, on the other side, the outpatient and hospital areas, which occupy the emerging arms that open to the magnificent views of the city and Sierra Nevada.

Hospital de Tomelloso. Castilla la Mancha

El paisaje ayuda a entender la configuracin del hospital, edificio de poca altura y desarrollado horizontal que reconoce las fuertes condiciones formales del horizonte manchego. Se basa en una traza ortogonal que permite la posibilidad de cualificar espacios mediante la bsqueda de proporciones adecuadas en el interior y exterior.Dos circulaciones bsicas, clnicas y generales, garantizan el acceso a todas las areas clnicas intermedia evitando cruces.

The landscape helps to understand the hospital configuration, a low-rise building of horizontal development that recognises the strong formal conditions of the horizon of La Mancha. It is based on an orthogonal layout that allows the possibility of qualifying spaces through the search of optimal internal and external proportions. Two basic circulations, clinical and general, ensure the access to all intermediate clinical areas, avoiding crossings.

C.H.A.R. de Benlamdena. Mlaga

Las acotadas dimensiones del solar, los fuertes accidentes topogrficos y la forma dividida, junto con los aspectos normativos que limitan la actuacin, han sido los principales elementos condicionantes de la propuesta. La divisin natural de la parcela se contrarresta con la introduccin de un tnel peatonal bajo la zona verde. Los aparcamientos se adaptan a la topografa y se vuelven a introducir al peatn dominante sobre la circulacin rodada.

The pre-defined dimensions of the plot of land, the strong topographic features and the divided form, together with the regulatory aspects that restrict the intervention, have been the principal conditioning elements of the proposal. The natural division of the plot of land is compounded by the introduction of a pedestrian tunnel under the green zone. The parking space is adapted to the topography and re-introduces the pedestrian to the road traffic.

C.H.A.R. de El Toyo. Almera

Se opta por un edificio donde la relacin forma-funcin sea inmediata. En planta baja destaca un basamento de pastillas paralelas, que alberga los usos ambulatorios, de acceso inmediato para los pacientes, mientras, en planta 1, una gran pastilla trasversal aglutina funcionalmente las actividades de uso intensivo. Esta relacin forma-funcin, nos da, de una manera natural, dos ejes de circulaciones (clinico y ambulatorio), cada uno en un extremo.

Opting for a building where the form-function relationship is immediate. On the ground floor a base of parallel tablets stands out, which houses the outpatient service, with immediate access for the patients. On the first floor, a big transversal tablet brings together the intensive care services in a functional way. This form-function relationship gives us, in a natural way, two circulation axes (clinical and outpatient), one at each end.

Se propone un edificio lineal que configure la nueva fachada del hospital, y que contenga todos los usos clnicos del rea de maternidad e infantil. Esta decisin permite liberar al edificio existente para la ampliacin e incorporacin de los espacios necesarios para el desarrollo del resto de las reas. Los usuarios acceden a nivel de planta baja, donde se produce un vestbulo de acogida desde el cual se accede al nuevo ncleo de comunicaciones.

Proposing a lineal building that would configure the new hospitals faade and would contain all clinical services for the maternal and childrens area. This decision helps free up the existing building for the extension and incorporation of the necessary spaces for the development of the rest of the areas. The users access via the ground level, where a reception lobby is produced from which to get access to the new communication core.

Hospital Reina Sofia. Crdoba

Se realiza una intervencion de carcter global sobre el actual complejo hospitalario. Un nuevo edificio de consultas externas, adosado al hospital a traves de un vestibulo longitudinal en doble altura, genera una nueva fachada de todo el complejo. Se reforman las plantas de hospitalizacin y parte del basamento, con 540 camas y 11 quirofanos. Por ltimo, se planea una ampliacin que continue el basamento, sobre la que se apoyan 4 pastillas de hospitalizacion.

A global intervention is carried out on the current hospital complex. A new building for outpatient consultations, attached to the hospital through a longitudinal hallway split in two levels, generates a new faade for the whole complex. The hospitalisation floors and part of the basement are renovated, with 540 beds and 11 operating theatres. Finally, an extension is planned that continues the base that supports 4 hospitalisation tablets.

El principal objetivo de esta propuesta es alcanzar la mxima eficiencia del conjunto, conjugando la forma con la funcin, donde se imponga los criterios de organizacin funcional, clasificacin de circulaciones y circuitos potenciando la accesibilidad y en definitiva la optimizacin de todos los procesos asistenciales al servicio del usuario. El reto es conjugar este rigor funcional con una implantacin sosegada, una volumetra amable y una forma sugerente.

The principal objective of this proposal is to reach the maximum efficiency of the whole, combining form and function, and imposing the criteria for functional organisation, circulation and circuit classifications, promoting accessibility and the optimisation of all assistential processes to user service. The challenge is to combine this functional rigidity with a calm implantation, a kind volume and an evocative form.

La nueva estructura funcional de zonas y circulaciones y la arquitectura del conjunto son posibles despus de demoler la rampa existente. La propuesta incorpora la rampa a un espacio funcionalmente trascendental y que se convierte en un gran vestbulo interno, corredor clnico, que enlaza cuatro de las seis piezas que ahora constituyen la planta. Se ha transformado la anterior cruz de la planta por un esquema de edificio de pabellones enlazados por un elemento comn.

The new functional structure and circulations have been made possible by the elimination of the ramp. The new design incorporates the ramp in a more important space, and becomes this in a large hall, which connect four of the six pieces. In this way, the existing crossshaped floor has been changed into a new structure of buildings connected by a common element.

La utilizacin doble del solar con el soterramiento de la actual Via-Parque, responde a la conveniencia y necesidad de construir un stano urbano, que no solo es aparcamiento, sino en parte jardn, usos terciarios y va rodada. Mientras, el edificio, se organiza a traves de pastillas longitudinales dispuestas transversalmente a la via, la cual cruzan, convirtindose en un puente en los niveles superiores, e integrando formal y funcionalmente los espacios generados.

The double use of the plot of land with the tunneling of the current Via-Park responds to the convenience and need of constructing an urban basement that is not only a parking area but also in part a park, public space and ring road. Meanwhile the building is organised through longitudinal tablets arranged transversally to the road, which they intersect, converting itself into a bridge on the upper levels and integrating the generated spaces both formally and functionally.

Planteamos un edificio en altura que permita introducir aire en la parcela, en el entorno, en la ciudad, a la vez de convertise un nuevo hito de la bahia, de Cadiz. Las unidades de hospitalizacin se desarrollan en altura, se desligan volumetricamente del hospital factora para convertirse en un hotel de enfermos, confortable, luminoso, con estupendas vistas.

We propose a high-rise building that allows for bringing air into the land, into the environment, into the city, and at the same time becoming a new landmark in the Bay of Cadiz. The hospitalisation units are developed in height; they are separated volumetrically from the factory hospital to become a patients hotel, comfortable and luminous, with excellent views.

El basamento se muestra levitando sobre la sombra que oculta los coches. Su curvatura y la neutralidad compositiva de su fachada buscan esa condicin ambigua de los podios clsicos. Las edificaciones superiores, son prismas que negocian su apariencia con el clima variable, el soleamiento y la privacidad necesarias. Su volumen es el estricto demandado por el programa pero buscan una composicin intencionada que se aleje de la imagen del hospital tpico.

The base appears levitating over the shadow that hides the cars. Its curvature and the neutral composition of its faade seek the ambiguous condition of the classic podiums. The upper constructions are prisms that negotiate their appearance with the variable climate, the exposure to the sun and the necessary privacy. Their volume responds strictly to the programme but seeks an intended composition far from the image of a typical hospital.

En este caso entendemos que es fundamental conseguir adems la integracin formal y funcional del complejo a travs de la conexin de los distintos pabellones que, compartiendo usos, pueden igualmente compartir circulaciones, simplificar recorridos y unificar apoyos. Conectar es optimizar. El complejo debe por tanto convertirse en un nico hospital, con una estructura de circulaciones y usos globales.

In this case, we understand that it is essential to arrive at the formal and functional integration of the complex through the connexion of the different pavilions that, sharing use, could equally share circulations, simplifying the journey and unifying supports. Connecting is optimising. Therefore, the complex must be converted into only one hospital, with a global circulation and usage structure.

La actividad internacional de Planho empieza a tener cierta relevancia; crecer fuera de Espaa es uno de los objetivos actuales de planho. Iplanho es la nueva empresa que dar soporte a este area de actuacion.

Gplanho
Gestionar grandes edificios es una tarea tan compleja como su diseo o construccin, especialmente si estos son parte del soporte bsico de la sociedad y estan sometidos a continuos cambios fisicos o de organizacion y a la intervencion de multiples agentes. En los ultimos aos se ha avanzado de forma considerable en control de sistemas e informatizacin de procesos, sin embargo en lo que a gestin de edificios se refiere, no existe un soporte que permita conocer el edificio en profundidad y de forma gil, manejar toda la informacin que genera como infraestructura, a nivel arquitectonico, de su equipamiento o sus instalaciones, de forma eficiente y actualizada. Gplanho es una aplicacion desarrollada para gestionar de forma directa y accesible toda la documentacion y el soporte fisico de un gran edificio. Supresion de papel, accesibilidad via web y actualizacion de la informacion son las claves de esta herramienta, que desarrollada sobre una base de datos grfica, garantiza el uso y tratamiento de manera inteligente del soporte fsico y de la documentacin.
