The holiday season is when most online retailers get most of their new customers. People who never shopped online decide its a good time to start and if theyre veteran online shoppers they tend to shift more of it online during the holiday. We expect it to be another strong year when online continues to steal sales from stores.

Retailers shouldnt be afraid to use mobile tools to make shopping more competitive and convenient. It serves the retailer by making customers more loyal. With mobile in the mix, retailers have more insight.
Anyone trying to reach consumers has a challenge keeping up. ComScore just published a new white paper that shows weve recently reached an new milestone in the U.S. Over the summer, we became a multiplatform majority: 54 percent of people accessing the Internet now do so from both computers and mobile devices.
