How it works
See into the ground with OKM detection equipment! With geophysical instruments from the German manufacturer "OKM Locating Technology" you are able to locate buried targets like gold and silver objects, chests, treasures, relics, statues, flagstones or hidden voids like tunnels, grave chambers, tombs etc. as well as water deposits under the ground. Also it is possible to detect basement structures of old buildings, ancient ruins, hidden walls, relics as well as pipelines, cables and canalisation by using one of our specially designed high resolution multi sensor devices. OKM was the first company to introduce

multi-sensor technology
into the world market.

OKM's Earth Imager products are specially designed for professional treasure hunting. Besides a powerful metal detector, we integrated computer recognition software to visualize the sub-surface and expose all of its anomalies and buried objects as well as the ability to scan the underground with a real time image. This enables the treasure hunter to reveal hidden treasures with our detection instruments and to see live into the ground. What is kept as a mystery for the human eye becomes visible by the help of our metal detecting instruments. With the Visualizer 3D software an approximate size and depth of the objects can be determined. With the advanced technologies many buried objects can be found well beyond the depth capabilities of metal detectors. Furthermore OKM products offer different metal detecting features to locate target with greater ease. From discrimination to automatic antenna identification, graphical illustration of ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as automatic scanning aids, live stream, pin pointing, automatic software signal correction and a host of built in functions that our competition doesn't even offer. Many discoveries have been made with our metal detectors and our geophysical instruments. If you would also like to take part in an exciting treasure hunt, make the first step and call for more information. We can fit you with the correct detector or geophysical instrument for your needs.

Long Range Systems

Bionic 01 - Bionic X4

This category presents our long range detectors, which are specifically tuned into identifying precious metals and gem stones at great distances. This compact equipment offers maximal performances.

Bionic 01 & Bionic X4

Long Range Gold Detectors

The Bionic is an instrument to locate gold, silver and ores in large distances. High penetration depths are also possible. The Bionic is a long range locator which is mainly used to detect gold and silver. Both of our Bionic systems include these individual searching systems: - Bio-energy system (bionic mode) - Ionization system (ionic mode) The Bio-Energy System (bionic mode) interacts with your body s own bio energy to determine the location of gold, silver and gem stones. In this mode the device is able to locate almost all gold & silver objects whereas the Ionization System (ionic mode) is a method to measure the ions radiation (ions absorbance) capable of locating long time buried gold.

Bionic 01 main unit

The Bio-Energy System of Bionic 01 and Bionic X4 is able to locate freshly buried or not buried objects no matter how old they are. The ionization system is mainly used to find buried artifacts.

How to conduct a scan with the Bionic?

The proper procedure for conducting a scan is to move the Bionic slowly up and down, to the left or right side completing a full circle. An acoustical signal and visual indication on the device will happen allowing you to know in which direction the gold or silver target is. Make note of this direction for future reference. To know for sure the distance of the target and where it is situated you will have to perform the task again. This is called pin pointing. Walk about 75 to 150 ft (25m to 50m) to the left or right of the first point and repeat the scan again. This time when the device shows the direction you can determine the distance by creating a cross where the two lines intersect. Repeat this process often to create a more accurate target position. The figure below shows the preceding principle.

The best and fastest way to locate a treasure is to work with two people at the same time. This speeds up the pin pointing process and in locating the buried object.

Pin Pointing the target location

Bionic X4

NEW

The Bionic X4 is our brand new long range locator, which can be used with an Android Smart Phone for graphical gold & silver detection. With our improved sensor technology, the Bionic X4 can detect further and deeper than any of our previous units!

Features and characteristics

In addition to the Bionic and Ionic detection methods for gold hunting, the Bionic X4 has the following additional features: External Power Pack for up to 16 hours operating time (continuous operation) LED Lights for night searches (also usable as flashlight) Laser pointer for directional reference (especially at night) Wireless stereo headphones Easy to read illuminated LED display Shock resistant and waterproof Peli transportation case including wheels and retractable handle for easy transportation Using the included Android Smart Phone increases the Bionic X4 functionality and ease of use: Digital compass for navigation (directional reference) Optical fixation of detection direction Visual focusing of targets

long range locator & 3d ground scanner Order the 3d ground scanner Rover UC together with your Bionic X4 and take advantage of a special package price. Since the Bionic X4 gold long range detector is not able to make any indications about depth and size of the buried gold objects, it is recommended to use another 3d ground scanner to conduct a detailed ground scan analysis. A very good choice is the Rover UC which is using the same Android Smart Phone as the controller.

Features of the FS-Reflexion FS-Reflexion includes different operating modes to record and analyze data: - Check Mode to recognize seismic disturbances - Scan Mode to record measurement values for a graphical representation - Frequency-Energy-Graph to analyze seismic activities - Data transfer to computer for representation of graphic in 3D How does FS-Reflexion work? FS-Reflexion works using a seismic vibration system. A transmitter generates vibrations going into the ground. Depending on the type of soil they will be transmitted or damped. If a void exists it will start to resonate in its own frequency and a very sensitive microphone and vibration sensors detect the return signal and the measurements are recorded into the software. Where FS-Reflexion can be used? FS-Reflexion can be used all around the world, no matter if there is stony ground, loam or clay soil, in the mountains or in flat country.

FS-Reflexion: control unit, transmitter and seismic vibration transducer

How the measured data is analyzed? The recorded values are analyzed via the Frequency-Energy-Graph. In this diagram a high amplitude of known frequencies indicates existing subterranean voids.

FS-Thermoscan

APPLICATIONS
detection of cavities (caves, tunnels, chambers, chests, ...), visualization of the distribution of temperatures as well as measurement of differences in temperatures. The FS-Thermoscan is a temperature measuring device that identifies thermal variances in the ground. The variances are indicators of buried or sub-surface anomalies. This enables the user to find hidden and buried objects. The FS-Thermoscan is a stand alone unit or can be coupled together with the eXp 4000 or eXp 5000 enabling it to also produce a 3D graphic representation of the measured values. The FS-Thermoscan stands up for its easy usage and compact design. Create high resolution 3d graphics of the underground by measuring the differences in temperature on the surface of the ground. With the integrated laser pointer, pin pointing an object is simplified. The device is non-evasive and can be used to scan larger areas. Especially if the area to be searched is not passable. Super sensor - Power Pack - DDV system

Our huge range of optional components can be used to optimize the measured results of our geophyiscal instruments. So every product can be adapted specially to the personal needs of each user and improve specific searching tasks.

Super Sensor
High Resolution More Depth Better Discrimination
The Super Sensor is a specialized antenna which offers professional metal detection features. Small metallic targets such as gold nuggets, coins, rings, jewelry and other buried valuables can be found easily with this antenna. With its improved resolution it is very suitable to detect larger objects like boxes, bunkers, pipes, chests, gold or silver bars and other metallic masses which are buried deep under the surface or which are difficult to locate with standard GPR antennas. The integrated sensor technology offers high resolution scans in soil types which have higher concentrations of mineralization. Working in uneven terrain is the Super Sensor specialty. It is a 1 meter long vertical probe allowing it access to difficult areas. In addition, the Super Sensor (if used together with the Visualizer 3D software) has an integrated discrimination function to discriminate ferrous and non-ferrous metals. No other metal detector can keep up with the Super Sensor superior depth penetration. A discrimination control prevents the user from digging out undesirable items like nails, cans or other trash.

Power Pack
Introducing our completely redesigned portable Power Pack for OKM metal detecting instruments. This Lithium Polymer cell has a high capacity 4400 mAh of power to keep your OKM metal detector working even when you are out in the field far away from civilization. The following instruments can use the The Power Pack's ergonomic new Power Pack: eXp 4000 design has a spiral coiled cable to eXp 5000 keep it handy and manageable. It is Localizer 3000 a fraction the weight of the previous eXp 3000 power cell and charges very Rover Deluxe quickly. Because of the light weight, Rover C II taking extra power packs Rover C in the field won't Future 2005 weigh you down. Future I-160 Cavefinder Geoseeker Waterfinder Grailfinder

One external Power Pack is included with your unit that requires it. Additional Power Packs can be purchased allowing even more time to search and locate your targets. Typically speaking having extra Power Packs is useful because most of the time the metal detectors are being used in areas where there isn't any electricity. Areas without electricity is where most archaeological sites and excavations take place. Our support department informs everyone that the number one reason for product failure is a battery that is low or out of power. Professional locators and prospectors always carry an extra Power Pack. Because they don't want to stop working because of a dead battery.

Features: Maintenance-free rechargeable LiPo battery, 4400 mAh, 12.7 V DC Weight: 605 g Dimensions (B x H x D): 90 x 190 x 25 mm Time of operation: varies per metal detector Comes with charger and international adapter.

DDV System
With the DDV-System a powerful metal detector is at your disposal, which supports your research for hidden targets. This additional equipment is designed to meet all requirements of a professional treasure hunter. The detector locates both ferrous and nonferrous metals but is mainly used to find small pieces of metal which are located near to the surface, such as coins, rings, nuggets and others. With this metal detector you can not only find buried items, you can even discriminate the metal and know what it is made of. You can even select the metal type to get the desired response from the unit. So for example, you can adjust the detector to show only silver targets and to filter out, (i.e. iron). Metals like iron, gold, silver and aluminum can be selected. By using the sensitivity regulator the detector can be tuned in to the current ground conditions and optimized to reach greater depth penetrations in difficult soils.

The DDV-System can only be used together with the devices Localizer 3000, eXp 3000, eXp 4000 and eXp 5000 as an optional upgrade. The detector system has to be connected to your measuring instrument to get an audible and visual representation through your device. Besides sending out an acoustical signal via the headphones, you will also see a visual representation on the display of your measuring instrument (minimonitor/video eyeglasses) when passing over a target. The DDV-System needs no additional battery, it gets his power from the connected measuring instrument. This lightweight but powerful metal detector is a must for all treasure hunters.
