Main goals of ECOMMIS


Four new core curricula : E-Commerce Internet Trading on Financial markets and Stock market systems Information Systems for Financial Analyses and Investment ERP Systems New supporting infrastructure : - PC Pool for ERP-, CRM-, SCM-systems, etc. - Network "EBO" offices (Electronic Business Offices) with stakeholders support Four training programs for non academic social groups : - Basic E-commerce skills (for high school students) - Intensify E-commerce skills (for working population) - How to survive in the IT world (for retirees) - Efficient family investment and family budget management (for family members) Five new modules: Customer-oriented Systems (CRM) Internet Marketing Electronic Systems of Document Turnover Legal issues for E-commerce (national/international aspect) Advanced Security for E-Commerce Three practice oriented business games: Internet Trading Electronic Systems of Document Turnover Internet Marketing

Implementation of work plan


Project Year 1, 2
1. Review/ analyze the current curricula closely connected with the field of E-Commerce - completed 2. Upgrade the selected current curricula inclusive ECTS. - running 3. First develop teaching materials for 4 new core curricula and 5 modules and on this base a set of curricula and modules. Develop three practice oriented business games - running 4. Develop four additional training programmes for other social groups interested in E-Commerce - running 5. Begin to develop, publish and purchase an interdisciplinary manual, handbooks and syllabi. - running 6. Prepare a set of documentation for PC pools and EBO, purchase / install equipment. - completed

7. Trainings: train academic teachers in new curricula, methodology / in additional training programmes. Tentatively: 3 retraining courses in 4 curricula are prepared, organized and carried out by VGTU (Vilnius, LT), TUB (Berlin, DE), Fontys (Eindhoven, NL). running 8. Administrative staff training for EBO will take place in September, prepared and carried out by ECM Office. Complete establishing E-Business Offices and international net. At the beginning the network will consist at least of representatives from 8 EBOs. It is planned to involve in the international net 8 target universities and other stakeholders starting in September, 2013 9. Master Classes: minimum 9 Master Classes on operation of new PC pools and new modules will be prepared and delivered in target universities. - running

1. Accredit a set of curricula and modules on national level - running 2. Pilot teaching /operation: teaching students in new curricula /modules. starting in September. Approximately 30 students from each target university will be involved in the courses offering new curricula / modules. 3. Pilot operation of EBO/ international net will be continued involving universities and stakeholders outside the project (focus on social groups) - starting in September.

Notes of NTOs and EACEA:


- Very cooperative and friendly atmosphere among consortium partners. - Every project partner showed strong ownership over the project and understanding of its goals and objectives. - Extended initiative ECOMMIS plus, annual Student Summer School in Dnipropetrovsk, publication of conference proceedings, student works, production of project-related promo-materials. - Exchange of experiences and best practices with the Tempus projets and ECOMMIS plus partners.

Recommendations of NTOs and EACEA:


- It is recommended that partners will work closely with the European partners as well as institutional and national stakeholders in order to translate the new curricula to ECTS. - The partners could investigate the idea of translating the curricula into Russian (and possibly Hebrew) in order to expand the impact of the project and make it accessible it for additional stakeholders. - The project team is recommended to monitor legal developments in ECommerce and to develop a promotional and sustainability strategy for EBO. - To review the available materials on ECTS, Tuning and other tools of the Bologna process . - Project partners are recommended to aim at more efficient planning of project mobility and incorporation of experience obtained in international mobility within project generated curricula.
