This Monday, November 4th, we will celebrate a Memorial Mass for Ric Havel at 11:00am. Please join us if you are able as we commit him and all the Faithful Departed into the hands of God, especially during this month of November. You will notice an announcement in this bulletin about a retreat day to be held on November 16th at the Jesuit Retreat House. I mentioned this in my homily a couple of weeks ago and suggested it was a great way for us to step back from the busyness of daily life in order to look at where weve been and where were going in our relationship with the Lord. As retreats go, this will be a relatively short one, only a few hours long. Please consider if God may be calling you to take this time out in order to b etter see how God is present in your life. Following our feast of All Saints on Friday, November 1st, we also celebrated the feast of the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed, better known as the feast of All Souls on Saturday, November 2nd. On this day, we remember all those who have died and we pray that through Gods purifying grace, they too may join with the saints in the joy of heaven. Please offer this prayer now for your own loved ones who have passed to the other side of life: Almighty God and Father, it is our certain faith that your Son, who died on the cross, was raised from the dead, the first fruits of all who have fallen asleep. Grant that through this mystery your servant (Name), who has gone to his/her rest in Christ, may share in the joy of his resurrection. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Eternal rest grant unto them, 0 Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen. May their souls and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

DEACON'S CORNER: I have a bit of a problem. Every week I go to Ashland to pick-up free food from Buehlers for our Stephens Meals and More ministry. I would like to find a used, (read cheap) cap for my 2009 Ford Ranger. The food generally comes in cardboard boxes and with the bad weather coming a cap would keep the food safer. If you have an old cap or know of someone who would like to sell one, please let me know at 440-328-6579.
