Dear Friends;

trip we have just completed to eight of our Bible Colleges In the midwest, north, and westcoast. We have a mailing list of over 200 names of young people open to God's leading who want our newsletters to pray for Japan and who would be willing to go If God clearly directs. Continue to pray that God will send
forth at least 100 new recruits to Japan In the next ten years to be witnesses

ANSWER TO YOUR PAYERS

Many of you have been praying for the two month

to the 99,000,000 Japanese who have not yet heard or responded to the gospel. Every college graciously received us and we wish to express our thanks to Ozark Bible College, Great Lakes Bible College, Cincinnati Bible Seminary, Kentucky Christian College, Nebraska Christian College, Dakota Bible College,

Minnesota Bible College, and San Jose Bible College. These schools arranged speaking dates and conferences with students. It was a joy to see the large
number of students In every school preparing for the mission field. the last census 80% of the people under 40 stated they had no Interest In any religion whatsoever so the great spiritual vacuum In Japan Is still there.

VISION TO OPEN 100 TOWNS FOR THE GOSPEL IN JAPAN

ISOBE This town of 20,000 people was opened in October with the first home meeting in the Mogi home. In November J\alius held an evening of evangelistic films

So here you see God is opening doors. We need Christian workers both Japanese and missionary to reach out in these places where no one has a regular work at all. If God grants us transportation money we will try to send a team on Sunday afternoons
to these two towns for home visitation and surveying. Please pray for these two

towns of over 20,000 people each in GOKA and SEKIYADO. Pray we will have workers and funds to open new work here. A Sunday School class or individual or Church might like to give $25.00 for each month for a year for transportation, tracts, and survey work in these two places. We will have a full time worker available from April who co\ild
do this work if God raises up the funds for it.

RECRUITS FOR JAPAN

In October we received two fine letters from contacts we made during furlough, is from a Christian woman in Michigan who writes:

Lord willing, we may be able to work together in Japan some day, I thank the Lord for sending you to our area and as yet I know not when or why He wants me to go to Japan. I only know He spoke to me through you folks and it is but for me to obey and to prepare to go to Japan for His work. He will direct each step of the way if I will but follow."

CHRISTMAS IN JAPAN

Since Christmas is now commerialized in Japan, it gives us much opporttinity to

distribute tracts and send out Christmas caroling groups in the main shopping areas
of Tokyo. Again this year our ch-urch young people will take part in this ministry

to reach the millions of Tokyo with a message of the "True Meaning of Christmas" This month we have begun a cooperating work with a missionary who has rented the second floor of a coffee shop one night a week in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. Just five minute's by train from our church. Last Tuesday night Julius talked with six yotuig men who came into the coffee shop to hear the Christian folk einfflng and gospel jiiessage. Several of our young people helped in passing out notices in the area and doing personal work. Julius talked with six young men who said they would come to church the following Sunday. New and startling mthods must be used in modern
Tokyo to reach those who will not come to the churches. Jesus said He came to seek

and to save. Pray for the missionaries and the Japanese church to have wisdom from God to use new methods to seek and bring Christ to the lost millions of Japan.
THE GREATEST GIFT? YOU CAN GIVE US FOR CHRISTMAS is your daily prayers for our being empowered for His work. We appreciate your offerings. These are needed but add to
them your daily prayers.

^,S^cerely,
Julius
