Drug use is becoming a matter of concern in present time.

In this paper we shall look upon various aspects of the problem, how different factors can relate to them and how to control the drug abuse which is on the rise. Self esteem building- teaching how to say no: Self esteem is very important to develop personality traits in children. They have to be incorporated since the early childhood time, so that esteem can help build positive personality traits. In doing so; a child feels confident and values his own person. He/ she are able to say no to wrong and happily accept the correct aspects of life. Children with high self esteem can easily refuse to a drug peddler, and those with low self esteem can be easily taken away by things. This is very critical to developing a strong personality. Personal health- having schools make homemade lunches instead of processed foods: Children shall be trained over to realize the importance of eatables that are made at home. For the purpose of their understanding, children should be taught about the nutritious value of food thats made at home, rather than going for junk food or processes meals. Pure refusal skills Children in schools and homes shall be taught to totally reject any offer by a stranger for use of a substance that they are not familiar with. Drug peddlers usually use such tactics, to lure in youngsters and make them seductive to the use of drugs; slowly and gradually. Church There are various aspects of this issue, when the drug usage increased in early 1990s. States in the United States started making legislations over drug use. The Church is thought of an

important institution that can help control drug abuse. Many states in the US are proponents of the idea that Churches should be sponsored for initiatives to curtail drug abuse. I suggest that with the decisions related to the issue there has been much re invention in the Church system for drug abusers, also the criminal justice systems structure has been improved and altered to that effect. We see many youth all over the US are prone to drug use, who is not actually kids or children; they actually are youth who have serious problems pertaining to life, family and the societies. The situation should be dealt with in accordance to the psycho social responsiveness of the individual. The Church is the best instruction that can help them and set up many rules and policies related to drug use. Role models Adopting role models can be helpful, as it can help relate to how they live their life. In trying to copy the role models, the drug usage can be completely controlled. The drug user will try to derive attention towards other activities; related to the interest of a role model that can be a sports player, a social activist, a politician etc. Institutional Intermediation: Various institutions like schools, colleges, social media, universities, youth groups, campaigns as well as teams of psychologists can be trained well for making people aware of the problem. This can help resolve issues, as well as provide welfare for the community. Awareness about use of drugs as well as other problems can be coped up with the help of institutional activities. Conclusion I wont consider myself as a staunch supporter of punishment for drug abductees, as they are a [art of the society and shall be dealt with care and support. I think they should be cured in

hospital depending upon the intensity of the abuse. Young abusers need to be sorted out as their presence can spread repulsive behaviors amongst other youngsters as well. Only individuals with such tendencies can be much lethal if left un-observed to grow to older ages. Those who are deemed serious for the society (in terms of their tendency to lure teenagers) should be tackled with an utmost care. Such behaviors, that give rise to youth being involved in abuse, should be controlled well in time, at level of all entities i.e. family, school, high school and social setups. Social Policies There are several means of recovering the affecters from this state of psychological fear which may include the following: One can be put away in a state to sheer confinement for the purpose of retribution similar to the way an adult would One can be likely put in an intensive care live-in complete treatment program Counseling as well as rehabilitation are usually priority subjects in all such cases Punishment for the culprits Advocates and court services are sufficient to help cope up with circumstances, advices are better given to sufferers and parents Many Non-for profit organizations (NGOs) can help in this regard, which focus primarily on cases of drug abuse There are many possible solutions to the problem. Instead of giving the problem a negative space for un-noticed or un-catered for negligence, recovery is a better option to be exercised. There are several ways for a peaceful resolution to the drug abuse in the society.
