cieation of a new national public libiaiy oiganization - focuseu solely on the
cieation, collection, ueliveiy anu pieseivation of both uigital anu physical alteinate

Incoipoiation foi a new Canauian Not-foi-Piofit coipoiation to establish, opeiate
anu maintain national equitable libiaiy seivices ueliveieu thiough Canaua's public
libiaiies foi Canauians with piint uisabilities. The woiking name of the new entity
is The Centie foi Equitable Libiaiy Access (CELA).

The new oiganization, sepaiate fiom C0LCCB0C anu the CNIB, will leveiage the
extensive publicly-funueu uigital iepositoiy, ILS anu physical piouuction anu
ueliveiy infiastiuctuie cuiiently useu foi those Canauians who ieceive theii seivice
uiiect fiom the CNIB Libiaiy Seivice anu fiom existing public libiaiy paitneis.

copyiight amenuments to facilitate alteinate foimat piouuction, anu has a
successful iecoiu in buugeting anu financial management, lobbying, anu wiiting
