Professional Profile Hard working and driven to succeeding, I have worked in the Music industry as an independent and session musician, graphic designer/web designer, promoter and presenter. I have also worked extensively with young children, staging school concerts and delivering workshops. I achieved a triple distinction in Music Practice (BTEC) in 2009 and went on to earn my Bachelors degree, with honours, in Contemporary Music and Technology in 2012. In recent years, I have been interested in getting more involved in the business side of the music industry, in the areas of Marketing, Events and Artist Management, which quickly led to a position as the Head of Advertising and Marketing at audio production library, MUSINC. I am now seeking a more challenging role, working in an environment driven to producing results. In group projects, I often pitch large, idealistic concepts which think outside of the box; and then follow them up with logical, watertight methods of putting them into action. I am a fluent English speaker and hold a valid UK driving licence.

Experience Head of Advertising & Marketing, MUSINC July 2013 October 2013 I was responsible for the design, development and presentation of conceptual marketing and advertising campaigns, promoting a new, audio production library; with focus on reaching key industry areas and improving company revenue. With focus on social network implementation and demographic/psychographic targeting, my campaigns have been notably ambitious in their approach. My role has also included aspects of administrative and website management, video-editing, graphic design and social network management. Temporary Music Teacher, Suttons Primary School September 2013 October 2013 5-weeks of delivering the National Music-Curriculum from Reception to Year 6, including lesson plans and use of external industry/performance experience resulted in results above the projected average in most cases. Performance, writing/composition, ensemble performance and basic theory were all included and delivered via tailored projects for each year group.

Graphic Designer, Freelance September 2011 Current I have been commissioned to produce various design works in a range of styles, in both digital and print formats. My designs are often used for product marketing, events promotion and advertisement; as such, they stay constantly relevant to changing industry themes. Constant communication with clients has guaranteed complete satisfaction on every occasion, often resulting in additional commissions. Previous clients include: Bulb Ideas Management, MUSINC, Surface Festival International, BridgeBound and the CWA. Presenter/Promoter/Stage Manager, Surface Festival: International Music Competition, South Region January 2012 November 2012 Having reached the regional finals stage with BridgeBound in 2011, I wanted to get more involved behind the scenes with Surface Festival. I was brought onto the London team as the head Presenter due to my confidence as a public speaker and my ability to interact with hundreds of individuals at a time. I also aided a number of bands with their stagecraft and visuals. The winners as well as 1st and 2nd runners up were all London bands that I had worked with closely during the competition. Musician/Marketing/Design, BridgeBound January 2010 September 2013 Alongside my work as the drummer and backing vocalist for Essex-based rock band BridgeBound, I have also been completely involved in the writing, composition, recording and performance of our entirely original catalogue, including performances as iconic venues such as The 100 Club, The Brixton Jamm, The 02 Academy, Islington and the Indig02. It has also been my responsibility to spearhead the design and marketing for the band; including logo design, website development and management, photo and video editing, development of digital and physical promotional materials, merchandise design and artwork for all printed and digital singles, E.Ps and Albums. I am also responsible for the development and running of the official website (www.bridgebound.co.uk), mailing list and social networks; resulting in a dramatic increase in sales of our latest E.P: This is your conscience speaking. As of September 2013, BridgeBound have taken an indefinite hiatus. Session Musician/Workshop Presenter, Maryland Primary School, Stratford December 2008 September 2012 For four years, I was repeatedly asked to return and work with the school in their annual/bi-annual productions because of my dedication to high performance quality and professionalism. Working with the other session musicians, teachers and the students (Ages 7-11), he have actively developed and performed exciting concerts, many of which have been met with public, council and governmental acclaim. In 2012, I was also asked to deliver a workshop to 60+ children about my industry experience and creative thinking.
