THE REAL BRUCE GUYTON
Bruce Guyton was arrested
for stealing money out of the
cash register at Checkers
Drive In restaurant. Below
is the criminal case history
for Guytons arrest for Grand
Theft:
Guyton has always been a pathological liar. Nor surprisingly,
Guyton even lied on his employment application for his
current Palm Beach County job at the Palm Tran public bus
department. Guyton explains, in his own handwriting, that
he quit working at Checkers Drive In restaurant because he
did not enjoy the fast food industry and that his leaving was
VOLUNTARY! Guyton signed his employment application
attesting that all statements and information .given in this
application are true. The problem though, is that Guyton was
arrested for Grant Theft and fred as an assistant manager at
Checkers. Guyton lied when he checked the box YES, that he
left his job Voluntary. The taxpayers of Palm Beach County
should demand that the Country Administrator Bob Weisman
enforce the terms of Guytons employment application and
immediately terminate Guyton, for cause.
Guyton has a history of manic behavior, with
grandiose delusions.
This type of delusional disorder is found in the majority of
patients who sufer from bi-polar disorder, with a substantial
portion of those having substance abuse disorders. Looking at
Guytons violent public rants where he has physically threatened
me, it was not surprising that his sister had him involuntarily
committed by the Palm Beach County Court for a mental health
and substance abuse evaluation. Guytons violent personality is
well documented, for example when he beat to a pulp Ms. Diana
Mosley. The authorities should make sure that Guyton is never
allowed to own a frearm, based on the evidence of his mental
illness and criminal history.

Bruce Guyton scams the Riviera Beach taxpayers for the last 17 Years!
A fnal judgment was issued against Guyton, and in favor of the City of Riviera Beach, on May 9, 1996, for $1948.00. This judgment
is to bear interest at the legal rate, until it is paid of. There is no record that Guyton has ever paid this fnal judgment The question
then arises, why has the City council not authorized a legal action to garnish Guytons council salary until he pays of his judgment,
plus interest, to the City? Guyton is a complete and utter fnancial deadbeat, who does not have the maturity to comprehend the
fscal responsibility that is required of a public ofcial.
Understanding the multiple facets of Guytons life
as a thief, liar, drug abuser, and mentally unstable
individual with a history of violence.

000 8 80l8l 0080008l, 8lN88 8 80l8l 0080008l.
Guyton bounces a check on Any Times Checks, Inc., 80 l00 90 M0l08
later declares bankruptcy in federal court.
The below flings, speak for themselves. These documents, recorded in the ofcial records of Palm Beach
County, are clear proof that Guyton does not have the maturity to make decisions involving millions of
taxpayers dollars, when he goes around bouncing checks for only $500. The taxpayers deserve a public
servant that is honest and will be accountable in spending their tax dollars in a fscally responsible manner.
The evidence is irrefutable, Guytons lack of integrity in his personal fnancial dealings with vendors in
the community should have disqualifed him from ever being considered as a credible candidate for the
Riviera Beach City Council. If the voters were aware that Guyton handled his personal fnancial afairs, in
the same responsible manner as a fve year old child, Guyton never would have passed the laugh test and
would not have been elected. Shame on those in the community who knew Guytons past, but for their
own personal fnancial reasons, supported this deadbeat for ofce to push their agenda.
For example, why did the former South Bay City Manager Cory Alston, who was arrested on multiple
corruption charges and is awaiting trial, give Guyton $1000 for his election campaign? Alston is registered
as a lobbyist in Riviera Beach. What projects is Alston lobbying for, and how is Guyton voting on them?
Time will tell if Guyton is once again playing his Pay to Play corruption game.

The Palm Beach Post laid it all out in black and white.
Guyton is the #1 political slimeball in
Palm Beach County and a danger to the
community!
The Palm Beach Post did multiple investigations into
Guyton, and what they came up with during Guytons
frst stint as a Riviera Beach Council person is both
shocking and disgusting. Guyton gets of beating
the crap out of defenseless women, uses illegal drugs,
drives drunk and faunts his ofcial ofce to have
a dishonest Riviera Beach cop scurry him away so
that he will not be charged with DUI, accepts illegal
bribes, and violates the Sunshine law for starters. It
makes one shake their head in disbelief, that this total
slimeball was not locked up years ago? The editorials
and story below are directly from the Palm Beach Post
web archives and should have been required reading
for any voter in the last election.
Guyton and his psychotic legislative assistant, Ms.
Sylvia Blue, have repeatedly threatened me with
physical violence. Ms. Blue has upped the ante, with
repeated death threats that she has made to me at
City hall and from the speakers podium. Ms. Blue even
came to the City marina when I lived on my foating
home, and told me, screaming at the top of her lungs,
that I would be found dead under it.
Anyone who has information about Guyton engaging
in any recent instances of physical violence or public
corruption, please email them to my attention. Also
any information about Sylvia Blue would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you.

REPLACE BRUCE GUYTON
DATE: December 2, 1994
PUBLICATION: The Palm Beach Post
EDITION: FINAL
SECTION: OPINION
PAGE: 14A
Rumor has it that Riviera Beach City Council member Bruce Guyton, who stands accused of drunken driving and bribery,
has said he won't resign. Too bad. He's an embarrassment. But if he won't go voluntarily, city residents have another option.
They can find a strong candidate and vote out Mr. Guyton in March.
To hear Mr. Guyton tell it, he is criticized because he is an activist, unafraid of making hard decisions. Such qualities also
require a willingness to accept responsibility, something he denies or glibly explains away. Since he was elected in 1991,
Mr. Guyton has been at the center of deal-making that voted top city officials in and out of office. Acharter change approved
last month reduces the possibility of such capricious changes, but Mr. Guyton's penchant for self-serving votes has earned
the city a reputation for irresponsible, unstable government. Politics as usual for Mr. Guyton includes his blatant
orchestration of the appointment of Gerald Adams as city manager - before Mr. Adams and four other fi nalists had been
interviewed.
In October came allegations that Mr. Guyton accepted bribes for his vote on a noise ordinance favorable to the Ocean's
Eleven North club on Singer Island. Those charges are under investigation by the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office.
After leaving that club, where he is said to have been given free drinks and other perks, Mr. Guyton was stopped on
suspicion of drunken driving in October. On Nov. 1, Mr. Guyton totaled his car and was charged with drunken driving. Police
found a marijuana cigarette and several butts in his car.
Singer Island wants to leave the city, a move that would devastate Riviera Beach. Secessionists looking for additional
evidence to justify de-annexation can find it in Mr. Guyton's presence on the council. In addition, a misguided vote may be
taken to keep Riviera from contracting with a private garbage hauler, a move that would save residents money and one that

MR. GUYTON'S FRIENDS

PUBLICATION: The Palm Beach Post
EDITION: FINAL

The test of a police department is whether it applies the law equally. By that standard, Riviera Beach's department seems to
be flunking.
On Jan. 19, at 1:21 a.m., officer Steve Maldonado spoke to Diana Mosley near her home. The 35-year-old woman, crying and
hysterical, had bruises on one ear and blood on her face, shirt and legs. She said that Bruce Guyton, former city council
member, had hit her. Mr. Maldonado and another officer found Mr. Guyton - bloodstains on his clothes, bleeding from one
hand - at Ms. Mosley's home. He refused to make a statement and was arrested. When officer Maldonado's supervisor, Sgt.
Will iam Cushing, took over at the police station, Mr. Guyton gave a written statement. He said Ms. Mosley tried to slap him,
and he defended himself. Both Mr. Guyton and Ms. Mosley were listed as ``victim/suspect.''
Police Chief Jerry Poreba said the release was justified because Mr. Guyton and Ms. Mosley were not living together, were
not related by blood or marriage and did not have a child in common. By law, Mr. Guyton could not be charged with domestic
violence. Ms. Mosley refused to file other charges.
Her reluctance isn't surprising, considering the history between Mr. Guyton and the Riviera Beach department. On Sept. 8,
1994, while he was serving on the council, Mr. Guyton was stopped at 2:30 a.m. by city police on suspicion of drunken
driving. Officers reported that his speech was slurred and he smelled of alcohol, but he refused to take a roadside sobriety
test.
Instead, Mr. Guyton requested that a supervisor be called. Lt. Ralph Franklin came, escorted Mr. Guyton to the police station
and released him. Chief Poreba said he had no problem with the decision made by Lt. Franklin, a 20-year veteran. Mr.

CORRECTION: CORRECTION, PUBLISHED Thursday, October 13, 1994: Because of a reporting error, a story published
Oct. 1 incorrectly identified Stuart Kaufman as the owner of Ocean's Eleven North nightclub on Singer Island. He is the former
owner. Since June, Laral Enterprises Inc. has owned the nightclub. Allen Rosen of Lake Worth is president of Laral, and
Larry Queen of Miami is vice president.
The state attorney's office has heard testimony that City Councilman Bruce Guyton accepted approximately $2,150 in cash
and hundreds of dollars worth of free food and liquor from a Singer Island nightclub owner in exchange for Guyton's support
on council votes.
Guyton denied the allegations, calling them ``the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard in my life.'' On six separate
occasions, Guyton accepted envelopes containing between $200 and $500 from Stuart Kaufman, owner of Ocean's Eleven
North on Ocean Avenue, one witness, a former club bartender, told state prosecutors.
Another witness, a former club manager, told prosecutors he heard Guyton tell Kaufman that he was trying to get a city
council majority to pass a noise ordinance that would allow the club to play outside music. He also told prosecutors that
Guyton threatened to fire or demote a police officer who responded to noise complaints at the Singer Island club.
