Rules & Regulations


1. ELIGIBILITY:
Final year students pursuing two year full time MBA/PGDM/PGDRM programme are eligible to participate. The duration of summer training should be of 45-60 days in respective fields

2. ELECTIVES:
Entries are invited for the following areas of specialization: Marketing management Human resource management Finance management Rural management/ rural development Agri-business management

3. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
A. Soft copy of the report (MS office Word format/PDF format), synopsis (in 200 words), power point presentation and duly filled registration form shall be e-mailed directly to irm.spardha2013@gmail.com. B. Registration fee: Rs.500/- per short listed entry. DD may be drawn in favor of Indian Institute of Rural Management, payable at Jaipur, latest by given date. C. Best entries will short listed (See selection procedure). On the presentation day ,short listed candidates should bring along the following : One hard copy and on soft copy of the project undertaken. Presentation in a CD. An authorization letter duly signed by faculty Guide / HOD / Dean / Director / Principal. Students to carry their ID cards at the time of registration. 4. IMPORTANT DATES:
Last date of submission : Event : 7th November, 2013 15th 16th November, 2013

5. SELECTION PROCEDURE:
There will be two stages in the contest. At the elimination stage, entries will be short listed by a panel of experts from the industry and academics The short listed candidates will be duly intimated through e-mail/ phone before 10th november, 2013 The names of the short listed candidates will also be displayed on our website www.spardha2013.com on the same day. The event is scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM on 15th november, 2013. The participants are supposed to report one hour prior to the commencement of the event. The event will be conducted in 5 sessions, the details of which are as follows: Session 1st Finance Management to be held on 15 November 2013 Session 2nd Marketing Management to be held on 15th November 2013 Session 3rd Human Resource Management to be held on 15th November 2013 Session 4th Rural development/ Rural management to be held on 16th November 2013 Session 5th Agri-business management to be held on 16th November 2013 Every short listed candidate would be allotted a time bracket of 20 minutes followed by an open defense session of 10 minutes (total 30 min). Best presentation from each category would carry with it a Cheque of Rs.14,000 as 1st prize and Rs.6,000 as 2nd prize. A participation certificate will be awarded to all presentations in all categories at a valedictory session, to be held on 16th November 2013. (A/N)

6. EVALUATION CRITERIA:
The project reports shall be evaluated on the following parameters: Feasibility of objectives in its relevance Logical flow of presentation Specificity of research methodology

Rationale behind findings and inferences Feasibility of recommendations and suggested plan of action Visual impact of presentation Articulation and compatible body language Query handling Innovative tools/techniques applied or suggestions given to the organization concerned Any other value addition

7. ARRANGEMENTS:
The institute will arrange local conveyance, boarding and lodging for the contestants on request received 7 days prior to the event (on 15th 16th November, 2013).

NOTE:
Incomplete registration forms shall not be accepted. Pease carry the required documents (as per 3 C) for registration to avoid inconvenience.
