Term papers presented as a part of the academic curriculum: Applications of Value Engineering in Construction Fibre Reinforced Polymers Railways Tunnels Traffic simulation using TSIS 5.1, with special emphasis on CORSIM City. User Equilibrium and System Optimum Traffic Assignment Techniques Presented a Seminar on Prefabricated Construction Technology as a part of the academic curriculum B. Tech Project (ongoing): Optimization of water distribution system of IIT Guwahati.As a part of which we are forecasting water demand, identifying supply sources and accordingly optimizing storage and distribution system for IIT Guwahati campus.

Achievements and Extra-Curriular Activities:

Serving as the General Secretary, Placements of IIT Guwahati. In this role, I alongwith department placement representatives perform the task of : Understanding students interests and trying to avail relevant job opportunities Helping students and recruiters exchange their views and expectations from each other and making appropriate suggestions/requests if required. Representing students at administrative forums to push for relevant changes in the policy matters. Planning and organizing the placement session 2007-08 along with placement cell Served as Head of Marketing, Techniche 2006, the annual techno-management festival of IIT Guwahati,where we performed the task of: Identifying potential sponsors,their possible motives for sponsorship and helping them realize the value proposition offered by Techniche by effectively communicating the same to them Identifying strengths/weaknesses of junior team members,understanding their expectations and mentoring them accordingly Planning and organizing day-to-day activities of the festival Served as the House Prefect - Discipline of Yellow House at school level. Obtained an All India Rank of 2933 in the prestigious Joint Entrance Examiation Ranked 13th at the Karanataka Common Entrance Test taken by students all over India
