MSC Malaysia MyProCert (SRI)

What is MSC Malaysia MyProCert (SRI)?
MSC Malaysia MyProCert (SRI) is a partnership between the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) and MDeC to up-skill and upgrade Malaysian professionals. Participants of the programme will enjoy significantly reduced certification fees, as well as receive the MyProCert (SRI) incentive which will be reimbursed to companies and individuals who pass the required certification examination. The net fee inclusive of the MyProCert incentive will see a saving of 25 88% from the usual certification fee. Initially piloted with SAP certifications, the MyProCert programme now adds other skill sets including Huawei Certified Datacom Associate, Oracle Certified Professional Programmes, iOS Mobile Development, BTEC Level 4 Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), International Association of Outsourcing Professional BPO Programmes, PMP, TRIZ, Building Information Modeling (BIM) Autodesk Revit, National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer and Embbeded Systems certifications. In 2013, more skill sets will be added to this programme based on industry demand. Trained and certified Malaysians under this programme will be part of the critical supply of ICT talent to meet the growing needs of local ICT industry players and foreign investors.

Eligibility Criteria
Application Criteria: 1. 2. 3. 4. Malaysian citizen Priority will be given to existing workforce with 2-8 years working experience Meet the admission criteria set by the training course / certification owner Pass all the examinations required by the certification within 6 months from the commencement date of the training or no later than 1 December 2013; whichever is earlier 5. Participant can apply as an individual or company sponsoring/nominating its employees to participate in this programme 6. Professional certification and training course applied must be approved by MDeC (Please refer to MSC Malaysia MyProCert (SRI) Approved List in our website www.mscmalaysia.my/kdi). 7. Each participant or nominated participant is eligible to 1 approved application per year. 8. Each company is eligible to nominate up to a maximum of 25 employees per year. Reimbursement Criteria: 1. Participants must pass the exam(s) and obtain the professional certification applied. 2. Participants must remain as an employee of the same organisation at the time of Reimbursement Application (under company application).

Application Process Guidelines

1. Before filling in an application form, please read this Programme Handbook carefully. 2. MSC Malaysia MyProCert (SRI) Application Form can be obtained from the MSC Malaysia K-Workers Development Initiatives website www.mscmalaysia.my/kdi. 3. All applications must include certification with the exception of courses that has no related certification as stipulated in the MSC Malaysia MyProCert (SRI) Approved List. 4. Application is based on certification basis and not by exam. i.e. Huawei Certification Datacom Professional (HCDP) requires 3 exam, therefore application must include all three exams. 5. All applications have to be made through training providers registered with MDeC. 6. Training Provider chosen must be Authorised / Certified Learning Partner of the chosen professional certification. 7. All applications must reflect training, exam(s) and certification date in year 2013.

8. Supporting documents to be submitted with MSC Malaysia MyProCert (SRI) Application Form to Training Provider: a. 1 copy of Certified True Copy of MyKad of each nominated participant. 9. All applications must be approved by MDeC before participants can attend the training and sit for the exam(s) applied. 10. Before submitting new application, each participating organisation must ensure that all participants in previous cycle have completed the reimbursement process. 11. MDeC is not responsible and will not entertain any HRDF related processes (i.e claiming).

Incentive Disbursement Guidelines

1. Incentive is based on reimbursement basis which is claimable upon successful completion and passing of the approved professional certification and training course within the stipulated deadline indicated in the Letter of Offer. 2. Individuals and participating organisations are required to make full payment for both professional certification and training costs to the training provider/learning centre. 3. Reimbursement must be submitted online via APMS by training provider to MDeC before the end of the Letter of Offer validity period. 4. Each participant must show proof that he/she has attended the training and passed the exam(s) in order to receive the incentive reimbursement. 5. Supporting documents required for reimbursement: a. c. Letter of Offer Signed by participant / organization and witness 1 Certified True Copy of the certificate / result slip b. Original Payment Receipt - proof of payment for training and exam(s) costs d. Attendance sheet 6. For Reimbursement purposes, all Training and Certification need to be completed before 1 Dec 2013.

Disclaimers
1. MDeC has the right to amend the reimbursement payment amounts. 2. MDeC will not pay for out of pocket expenses and membership fees. 3. MDeC reserves its right at any time to defer or suspend any payments, discontinue with or vary the Programme including continuing or discontinuing with the disbursement of the fee towards the Programme regardless of its completion status.
