GENERAL INFORMATION
Where you have been given a task that you are unable to complete please organise for someone else to complete your duty or arrange a swap. Please be aware of your duty and listen out for your role on the day. This prevents other parents from having to complete your duty if you dont turn up or me looking for you. We all have children competing. As we have a number of state events throughout the season I will try to share out the jobs as fairly and evenly as possible. If you received a crew job this time you may be recording, marshalling, refereeing etc next time. Please remember also that any member assisting at sites will be eligible for a ticket in the relevant IGA Awards. It is the responsibility of the member to complete the tickets which will be available in the field site folders or at the finish line with the track referee for track related duties.

Crews
Attend and assist with the event you are required to crew. Ie;- long jump, raking, recording, spiking, organising children in jump order, trowel etc. (Marshalling for field events will be on the asphalt area beyond the finish line)

Track Recorders 70/1500 (Session 1 22)

Record performance times against athlete or lane against athlete.

Track Referee (70/1500 Session 1 22, - 100m Session 29 47)

Organise race finishers into place order

Track Umpire (Session 1 22)

Stand on given bend of track to ensure no running out of lanes (depending on event) or pushing, elbowing etc. If this occurs make note of where incident occurred, child involved, club and mark where incident occurred on track and raise given flag.
