Mindset of Crime Prevention for Seasonal Homes

This continues to be a trend with the Communities Folks are now closing up their seasonal weekend homes and returning to their primary homes. It is imperative that these homes give the appearance of being lived in. It is very important that these homes be checked on a regular basis. Late discovery of a burglary makes it very difficult for detectives to recover your property and or make an arrest.

There has been a rash of thefts of items from unsecured vehicles. A locked vehicle will yield a better chance of it not being broken into. Unsecured homes have been the target of Burglaries throughout the County. Suspects have attempted to break in to homes that were secured with negative results. Several suspects have been observed by neighbors and reported resulting in arrests. Some homes the suspects were known to the home owner. Please keep your valued business to trusted individuals only.
