A Treasure of Choje Lingpa

(Oneself appears as Yidam Hayagriva or any other [yidam])

Dun gyi nam khar nam chak dorje ni


in the sky in front appears a sky-metal vajra,

Gyurme gya tram tse nga yay bar sel


unchanging, crossed, five-pointed, blazing.

Te druppai wang chuk Chakzampa


In the center is lord of siddhas, Chagzamapa,


Lo gya lon tsul tra ma ra dang
one hundred years old, youthful, the hair on his head, brow,

Ag tsom kar sel muk nak chen sum bar


and beard appears white. He is dark brown. His three eyes blaze.

Ku la ray kar dri wa me pa sol


He wears an stainless white cotton robe on his body,

Dorje kyil trung nyam shak tsebum dzin


seated in vajra posture, making the gesture of equipoise, holding a long-life vase,

tsuk sangye Nang wa taye zhuk


on his crown is seated Buddha Amitabha,

Drin par Tamdrin tro gyal may pung bar


in his throat is Hayagriva Krodhrarja in a mass of a blazing fire.


Thuk kar Pema Jungne kar mar dang
In his heart is Guru Padmasambhava, with a pinkish complexion.

De nam sel gom dak nyi du min du


Meditating on this as clear appearance without self-identity

Chi sog barchay nyer tse zhi wa dang


In order to pacify occasions and obstacles of Death and so forth, and


Tsering gyurme Dorje ku drub chir
Accomplish the Vajra Body of unchanging long life,

Dun gyi drubtob chen por kha nying tre


In front of the Great Mahasiddha with a giving heart,

Generating devotion , Recite this supplication:

Hri Hri Hri

Nang wa taye dro kun je su kyong

Hri hri Hri Amitabha, protector of each and every being;

Tsepagme gon dro la chi may ter


Amitayus, protector who grants deathlessness;

Tamdrin wang gyal dro wai barchey sel


Hayagriva, Lord of power, who clears obstacles;


Pema Jungne nyig d dro wai kyab
Padmasambhava, Refuge of beings in this degenerate time;

Thangtong gyalpor sol tab lu wa may


Thangtong Gyalpo, infallible object of devotion;

Sol wa deb so gal kyen bar chay sol


To you we pray; dispel obstacles and unfavourable circumstances!

Jin gyi lob shik chi may ngodrup tsol


Bless us and bestow on us the Siddhi of Deathlessness.

Nay sum lhai ku lay zer tr


From the three places of the deities light rays radiate;

Dak gi la tse yar wa thor wa dang


My scattered and dissipated Life force ,


Day Gyay mi ma yin gyi bar chay dang
Obstacles of the Eight classes of humans and nonhumans,

Jung shii ch dang kye droi tse s dang


Essences of the four elements and all living beings life and merit,

Phak pai Thug je tham chay chi may kyi


And the Deathlessness of all noble compassionate ones,

Dudsti zer drang tsi ta bur d


Are all condensed into light rays of amrita honey-like nectar,

Bumpar thim pay ma shong kha nay l


merging into the (Mahasiddha's) vase and filling it, the overflowing (nectar)

Dak gi tsang pai bug ga nay mar shuk


enters my aperture of Brahma (crown of the head) and resides,


L kun gang way chi may tsewang thop
Filling my entire body, obtaining the life empowerment of deathlessness.

Tha mar druptob chenpo du zhu


Finally, light radiates from Great Mahasiddha,

Dak la tim pay dak nyi drubchen ku


Dissolves into me, I become the body of the Mahasiddha,

Nga ma ta bu dorjei den la kho


Just as before, arranged on the (crossed) vajra seat,

Ra tse nay tr tson cha me pung Gyi


Meditate that, from the vajra-point tips radiate a flaming heap of weapons,


Barch sung wai khor l kor war gom
a spinning protection circle surrounding obstacles.
