The intelligent design proponents had a conservative judge, but the trial demonstrated the collapse of ID as scientic theory! There are 'icons' of ID, argued as so complicated they couldn't just be created! Blood clotting cascade! Evolution of immune system! Bacterial agellum! The trial exposed ID as religious rather than scientic. !

The textbook sounds scientic, not religious, but says life began abruptly through an intelligent agency! Published previously with intelligent 'creator' instead of 'agency'! 1987 ruling that creation science was impermissible in public education, forcing the authors to change those words! The evolution battle isn't nished it's the result of a continuing attack against scientic rationality! Why is there such resistance to teaching evolution?! Because of the Bible!
