Contributions are not only technical work, but also team organisation, information research, and report writing. How the peer assessment score is used Your team report receives a group mark. Each team members individual mark is calculated by multiplying the group mark by the peer assessment factor,PAF:
Sum of scores for that team member PAF min , 1.1 100

Note, this means the maximum PAF that anyone can get is 1.1, but the minimum is zero. The lecturing staff reserve the right to alterthe individual marks in the case of a large disparity in peer assessment scores.

Example PAF Calculation Four people work on the project and the group report mark is 80%. The scores from the Confidential Peer Assessment Forms for each group member are collated, then the PAFs and individual marks are calculated:
