Dr. Fred Thompson said it best when he referred to Matthew 28:19, "Christians are to make no small plans. The territorial limits of their responsibility end only at the edge of the earth. God's Good News is for every nation, tribe, and
tongue."

our family has been enjoying our new place and pace! answer-to-prayer-request duplex. A home with a large yard area of Kingsport (108 Hillandale Drive, Apt. 2), right Heights Shopping Center. We found it in only five days

during Christmas week--what a gift from God to us!!

Yes, we have been breathing in the wintery-beauty of the blue sky, green grass
country of upper East Tennessee; in this uncrowded and unhurried land of the

mountains where there is plenty of room in today's world for the treasures of yesterday. The colorful birds and active squirrels in our backyard have been

daily delights, not to mention the PEACEFUL hideaways and serenity experienced now, rather than the heavy smog, fast pace, and loud noises of Mexico City. Perhaps we are experiencing afresh America's first frontier, and we invite you
to come visit us during our and Tennessee's Homecoming '86! We'll be lookinq

for you!

Tina and Heath are adjusting well to Sullivan South High School (the Rebels), while Bambi and Heidi are really enjoying their new Rock Springs Elementary School (the little Rebels), also in the county/country next to the high school. Trips have taken us to Indiana three times already in 1986. We anticipate being again in Indiana, Virginia, Missouri, California, Ohio, West Virginia,

We look forward to seeing you.

Mr. and Mrs. Collins Chew, old friends, have also answered one of our prayers
by providing another reliable automobile for Paulette to use when Steve is out

of town overnight.

You see, your important role in a prayer partnership with

us continues to be one of the keys that sustains and encourages us in the midst of constant change. Please keep it up today and tomorrow(s)!

As we remember yesterday's work and experience today's blessings, pray for us

as we prepare for tomorrow's life in Christ Jesus.

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Twenty-three years in niinistry--involved with thousands of people--fourteen

years as pastor/preacher--four years as Christian School Administratorand five years as missionary.... A growing observation--a deepening conviction... a keen realization....

The greatest single reason for not evangelizing the whole world and for failure in Government... and the progressive secularizaion of most cultures with corresponding social decay....
Is the prayerlessness of the people of God!

In I Timothy 2:1-4...that when God's people take prayer seriously and

intercede with thanksgiving for all people and for all in authority^..
We may live in peace--godly and reverent.
And evangelism and mission will flourish.

WHAT A MANDATE FOR EACH DAYFAITHFUL IN PRAYER!

WHAT A PROSPECT FOR LIFE AND MISSION!

{Adapted from Perspective)

AN INVITATION

OUR FAMILY INVITES you to participate again with us in a season of intercessory prayer on JULY FOURTH, 1986 for all cross-cultural missionaries

and for the world's leaders and for the Everroads to properly discern God's
will for their future.

Only one minute... or five... or more... in prayer on July 4th?

And then, persevere in prayer each day--or week--or month--for our family
during the remaining time ofour furlough.

REMEMBER I TIMOTHY 2:l--"Ante todo recomiendo que se hagan peticiones,

oraciones, suplicas y acciones de gracias a Dios por toda la humanidad...."
Blessings and love,

Steve and Paulette

Dear Friends,

WHERE DO WE GU AFTEK WE'VE ARRIVED?

You may be aware that we are not

returning to Mexico City due to some special needs of our family. So, we are asking ourselves appropriate questions that cry out for the proper answers. When our furlough concludes at the end of December, we no longer will be
