Data Mining Analysis on EB bill system

ABSTRACT Preparing a data set for analysis is generally the most time consuming task in a data mining project, requiring many complex SQL queries, joining tables and aggregating columns. Existing SQL aggregations ha e limitations to prepare data sets because they return one column per aggregated group. !n general, a significant manual effort is required to build data sets, "here a hori#ontal layout is required. $e propose simple, yet po"erful, methods to generate SQL code to return aggregated columns in a hori#ontal tabular layout, returning a set of numbers instead of one number per ro". %his ne" class of functions is called hori#ontal aggregations. &ori#ontal aggregations build data sets "ith a hori#ontal renormali#ed layout, "hich is the standard layout required by most data mining algorithms. $e propose three fundamental methods to e aluate hori#ontal aggregations' ()SE' Exploiting the programming ()SE construct* SP+' ,ased on standard relational algebra operators -SP+ queries.* P!/0%' 1sing the P!/0% operator, "hich is offered by some 2,3Ss. Experiments "ith large tables compare the proposed query e aluation methods. 0ur ()SE method has similar speed to the P!/0% operator and it is much faster than the SP+ method. !n general, the ()SE and P!/0% methods exhibit linear scalability, "hereas the SP+ method does not.
