Creating Part
First of all double click on part. Create a new part and named it T-bar. Then select the type Deformable and Modelling space 3D and base feature Extrusion. Select approximate size of 20 and then click Continue.

Now a sketcher window will be open. Select rectangle from sketch tool and draw a rectangle of any size. Then add another rectangle. Now give dimensions to its vertical side and horizontal side by selecting dimension tool from sketch tools menu. Use trim tool to remove extra line and then click done.

Now press the center mouse button twice, an Edit Base Extrusion menu will appear on the screen. Here give the depth of extrusion and then click ok.

A solid T-shape bar will be formed after this process.

Now since our part is made of two materials so we have to separate both parts. Click partition cell command and using 3-point tool select the different points on the fig.

Now this is the final shape of our part.

Defining Materials
Now from model tree double click the materials option. An Edit Material menu will appear on the screen. Named your material steel. From Mechanical tab select Elastic and enter the values of youngs Modulus and poison ratio.

Similarly entering youngs modulus and poison ratio of Aluminum we will create material Aluminum.

Creating Sections
Now create two sections first for upper surface of model and second for lower surface of model. From model tree double click on sections and create the first section named it steel and select steel for material. Select its category Solid and type homogenous.

Similarly create the second section named it Aluminum and select Aluminum as material.

Section Assignment
Now by clicking on the plus sign of the Parts and getting to its sub parts double click on Section Assignments. Assign steel to Upper portion and Aluminum section to lower surface. After assignment the color of the parts will change.

Creating Assembly
Now create Assembly by from Instances option. Select dependent and click ok. Now select the both sections of model Color of model will be changed to blue after creating instance.

Creating Step
Now create the Step and named it pressure. Select it after initial step and select Static, General as procedure type click continue and click ok.

Defining Boundary Condition


Now create boundary Conditions be selecting BCs from Model tree and named it as Initial. Select Category Mechanical and type Symmetry and click continue. Select the Left Side of Model and select Encastre from edit BC menu and click done. Boundary Condition is created. Arrows will indicate it.

Creating Load
Now define the load by selecting option of Loads from model tree and name it as pressure. Select Category as Mechanical and Type pressure. Click continue. Select the side surface of model and click done. Edit load Menu will appear. Enter the magnitude of 7.E06 and click ok.

Creating Mesh
Now from Part-1 sub-options double click on Mesh (empty). From main menu click on Mesh and then click on Control.

Now from main menu again click on Mesh and then click on Element type. Now select Compatible Modes and click ok. Now click on Seed from the main menu and select the global size as 0.5. Then from the drop down menu click on Part. The mesh will created.

Creating Job
Now create the Job from double clicking Jobs option from model tree. Name it as job.

Then right click on the job and then click on submit.

Now right click on 1job and then click on results.
