The default setting of QE1M is trunk mode. For V5 system, the service mode of the QE1M used as
interface with V5 switch must be provisioned as tributary mode, then set tributary mode as V5 interface.
Go to /Configuration/Trunk Module Setting/QE1M/Change Service Mode to Tributary and change the
service mode of the QE1M from "trunk" to "tributary". Set correct starting & end location where QE1M will
be used as V5 interface, and select change to synchronous mode to enable the timing source from V5
switch. Enter s to save the result.

After successfully changing the service mode for QE1M, the alarm of "Link Fail" for corresponding QE1M
should be cleared.
The add menu shows all the default setting value. For interface ID, variant number, AN (MSAP2000) must
follow the V5 switch (LE) setting. Give exact name of the switch for selection item 4. It will help if the
name of the switch is known.

After finishing the link mapping setting, list the setting again to confirm. Make sure the first Link ID number
(the illustration here is 17) matches to the MSAP2000 Index 1, where the first port of QE1M is. Its adminstate should be unlocked unless switch operator locks it or AN maintenance engineer locks it.
