Follow your lubricant supplier's instructions and safety directions when handling oils and greases. “The lubrication oil tank is combined with the Hydroset ol tank. ‘All ank units are test-un before delivery and al instruments are checked and adjusted to the corect seting for normal operating conditions (max. 32°C, 90°F ambient air temperature and ol viscosity ISO VG 150). [Even though the tank unit has been test run, all instruments and gauges must be checked before the crusher is put into ‘operation, Under normal conditions, all checks and adjustments must be made at a return oil temperature of 40.45°C (104-113°F) For operation under conditions which difer from normal, thermostats TG1, G2 and "TG3 must be adjusted to the values shown in tables 3.14.2 and 3.15.1, anda different grade of lubricating oil must be used. Description and flow diagrams ‘The freestanding tank unit (se figs. 3.1.1, 3.12 and 3.1.3) consists of @ front ‘component cabinet and atthe rear - lubrication and Hydroset ol tanks. The component cabinet contains the motor-driven lubrication of! pump(s, oil filter(s), and various protective devices. ‘Lubrication ol is pumped from the tank, through te filter and heat exchanger to the crusher’s ol inlet. Oil entering the crusher is pressed through the step bearing and up between the eccentric bushing and the mainshaft and between the botomshell bushing and the eccentric to lubricate these bearings. Te ol lbricates the wearing plate and the ‘bevel gears before running back to the tank unit by gravity In the ease of H-2000, H-3000, $-2000 and 3000 crushers, the pinionshaft has oi-bath lubrication. The oil eve is regulated by a level tube. The oil level must be checked by regular inspection and topped up if necessary In the case of H-4000, H-6000, S-4000 and $-6000 crushers, the pinionshat bearings are lubricated by a separate circulatory system. A small amount of ol is bled off from the main lubrication system between the filter and the heat exchanger. This bleed oil is pumped through 8 separate Fler tothe ol inlet inthe top ofthe pinionshaf. The oil level in the pinionshaft housing is regulated by a level tube and exces oil returns to the tank by gravity In the case of H-8000 crushers, the pinionshalt bearings are lubricated by a separate circulatory system with a separate tank.
