You are absolutely right! Facilities and money are merely tools to help accomplish Kingdom goals. But rest assured that no one here is interested in having the biggest, prettiest, or most expensive building in our city.
Why dont we just keep meeting in Spring Hill Elementary School ? It seems to meet our needs pretty well.
The school has been home to our Sunday morning worship services for over eight years, and its been a blessing to us. However, our rental agreement only allows us to use the school on Sundays, and The Farmhouse on our property cant accommodate gatherings of more than about forty people.
Awesome...Ive been waiting on a building! Will it have a _________ [petting zoo, IMAX theater, skating rink, exercise facility, pipe organ, etc.]?
Were still working out the specic details. Our main priority is to build something that will allow us to engage our community more deeply, with the goal of reaching more and more people with the Good News. Be sure to attend a Prayer & Vision Event to learn more about the vision for this facility and to get answers to some of your questions.
It sounds expensive.
Yes...its a lot of money. And if we were only building for our own benet, it wouldnt be worth it. But we rmly believe that God will use this ministry facility to bring hundredsif not thousandsof families back to Him over the coming decades.

We own just over nine acres of land on Duplex Road between Buckner Lane and Interstate 65. The Farmhouse, which houses our church ofce and The Well Outreach, is currently the only structure on this property. Well be building a ministry facility on the rest of the land.
THE VISION
A church isnt a building. Its a family of believers. And God no longer dwells in physical temples; His Spirit comes to live inside those who follow Him. So we arent going to try to impress our city or Godwith an ornate building that we only use once or twice a week. Instead, we feel God calling us to build a welcoming, outreach-oriented facility that ts well in our community and provides a home base for service, ministry, and relationshipbuilding. This facilityboth the building and the space around itwill be designed to spur interaction and dialogue with our neighbors...much like what youd nd at a corner market, town square, or local pub. The building will, of course, also provide space for our worship services, classes, and events.

THE PLAN
Were budgeting around $1.5 million for construction, whichon its ownwould increase our monthly payment by around 57%. However, the nancial commitments made by WellSpring friends and family members during the Putting Down Roots movement will (prayerfully) lower the total mortgageand the potential monthly paymentsignicantly. We are also exploring ways to put the building to use throughout the week, which will help to offset the expense of our facility. That may sound overwhelming, but remember this: God always provides a way to carry out His vision. We feel strongly that He is calling us to take this step, so we are equally condent that He will provide nancially.
