Criterios de calificacin:

El apartado I contiene elementos gramaticales y lxicos. Su valoracin es de 6 puntos. (1


punto cada ejercicio)
El apartado II se centra en la comprensin de un texto. Su valoracin es de 2 puntos.
(Apartado A=0,5, apartado B=1 y apartado C=0,5)
El apartado III se refiere a la expresin escrita. Se tendr en cuenta el uso escrito de la
lengua inglesa con la correccin formal, la cohesin, la coherencia y el registro gramatical
y funcional. La valoracin ser de 2 puntos como mximo.

La nota de la parte especfica, ser la media aritmtica de las calificaciones obtenidas en


cada una de las materias elegidas por el aspirante, siempre que se obtenga, al menos, una
puntuacin de cuatro en cada una de ellas. Esta nota media deber ser igual o superior a
cuatro puntos para que haga media con la parte comn.

TRAVEL TIME
Even before leaving home, 21st-century travellers can plan every detail of their journey through
the Internet. They can find the exact timetables of trains in distant locations, avoiding the need to
interact with local people on arrival in a foreign country. Almost every village in the world has got
an Internet caf, enabling visitors to check details of the trip and to remain in contact with those left
behind through e-mail. This may be useful, but it can also detract from the experience of getting
away from it all. And increasingly, many people carry mobile phones, allowing them to call almost
anywhere in the world, and perhaps more annoyingly, to be called at any time.
Modern travel may also be affected by the technology of iPods and digital cameras. Instead of
listening to local music, visitors can continue to listen to their own music wherever they may be.
And whereas 20 years ago, most travellers took their film in to be developed in local shops, today
that need has almost disappeared.
So, while you may be thrilled with the high-tech options that can save time on your journey, you
may want to think carefully before using them. Is your goal to get somewhere as fast and as
comfortably as possible, or is it to learn something about new places and people? If it is the latter,
you may decide to travel the old-fashioned way.
