Ensure that the pre task briefing is given out in a language understood by the work force, have it translated. Ask question regarding the briefing to get feedback from the staff, this ensures full comprehension. Issue required appropriate PPE and replace PPE that has signs of defect. PPE must include both hearing protection as well as dust inhalation protection.
Be sure that the cable stand are in proper balance Use proper and good magnetic spirit level for leveling of stud shaft before fit the cable drums. Prohibit anyone posting nearby cable drums Wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Use appropriate mask or other required PPE. Spray with water to minimize blown materials (dust suppression) Stop work when the weather condition is not good. Proper movement of shovel with soil when they lifted bringing to side of excavation to avoid dust and hazard to others. Be sure that the open floor having safety barrier and proper barricade in the four corners. Be sure that replacing or arranging of false floor are correct and balance. Good protection of false floor opening is one way of preventing these falls Be sure that the ladders are in proper position and at least 70 parallel. While working on the 2nd rung, keep 3 points of contact on the ladder at all times. Ladder should be proper tying

Check the stiles, rungs, rivets and welding to make sure that the ladder is not liable to collapse or twist. Check the feet, make sure they are clean and not worn. They must be able to give a good grip on the surface that is set up on. Be sure that they inspect by the qualified scaffolder inspector and green tag should be attached in the scaffolding ..itself. Avoid improper positioning during excavation works. Avoid lifting until you have warmed up and stretched If manual handling is unavoidable, ensure operatives involved are trained in basic lifting techniques. Selection may be required of suitable, fit individuals depending upon the nature of the task. Use more than one person if greater than 40 lbs., greater than your capability, or the load is awkward Use your legs to lift not your back Use your feet to turn not your waist Keep weight close to the body Think through how you are going to lift Do not jerk the load Use your core muscles as much as practicable Keep your fingers and toes out of the way to prevent injuring them
