They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD (PS. 11 !"#. Seeing the relentless advance of Islam into seemingly every corner of the world can make us fearful and discouraged. Like the ten Israelite spies, we may feel like grasshoppers in the face of giants. But with this advance, the Lord has given us new opportunities for contact with people who need Him. May He help us to boldly use these opportunities to share His love.

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students and Alumni

BURKI ! "!#$: ! graduate writes, "I am working to mobili#e our intercessory group to pray for the $umaa %rayer re&uests. 'hese prayers have had an effect on our town. ! young man, () years old, Muslim, and very poor, accepted the Lord on Sunday, (* +ovember. ,e had been praying for him for ) years and he had categorically refused conversion.- Praise %od for this new brother in .hrist. ! month ago this alumnus asked us to pray as well for two young converts. /ne had disappeared, and he still has no news of him. 'he other is in the military0 pray he meets .hristian brothers who can help him grow in his faith. %!B$ : !n alumnus reports that his wife has been ministering weekly to a Muslim woman in her home. 1or many years, after her husband took a second wife, this woman refused to work or even leave her room. But she accepted the friendship and visits of this pastor2s wife, and has now accepted $esus. She has found a 3ob, is again serving her family, and has invited her sister to hear the 4ood +ews. %ray that she will grow in her faith and that her family will find the Lord.
