Career Objective
To take up a challenging career that exploits my full potential, and also gives me opportunities to expose my knowledge and skills. I intend to teach myself new things in a learning-through-doing environment.

Education
Pursuing M.Tech (2012-14) in Manufacturing Science and Technology (Mechanical Engineering Department) from IIT Kharagpur. Completed Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) in 2012 with 74.51% marks and a CGPA of 8.22 from Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg(CG). Passed AISSCE (PCM) in 2007 with 80% marks with distinctions in all subjects. Passed AISSE in 2005 with 86.2% marks with distinctions in Mathematics(91%), Science & Tech.(81%), Social Science(90%) and Hindi(95%).

Projects Undertaken Studied, explored and handled Heat Exchangers in a month long vocational training
in Diesel Locomotive Shed, Raipur(CG) in May-June 2010. Underwent a practical experience fabricating pressure vessels/mist eliminator shells under the supervision of Jindal Steel & Power Heavy Machinery Division Raipur(CG) between June and July 2011. Did Design optimization and analysis of weldless flange connections in exhaust manifolds of automobiles as the Major Project in the final year of BE. Doing and learning about Computer-Aided Process Planning for Assembly of Mechanical Components in a CIM environment using Knowledge Based System and Soft Computing Techniques" as M.Tech project. The objective of the project being identification of different types of feasible assembly sequences for a particular assembly, alongwith specifying the most optimal sequence using expert systems and the knowledge base of the parts and assembly data.

Computer skills
Operating Systems and Tools: Familiar with operation on Windows platform along with adaptability to others. Fairly familiar with office tools. Continued

Engineering Tools: SOLIDWORKS In the process of learning ADAMS, a multibody dynamics simulation software equipped with Fortran and C++ numerical solvers. Learning to work on CLIPS, most widely used software for building expert systems, as a project requirement. Have also worked on AutoCAD.

Extracurricular achievements Recommended by Air force selection board (4AFSB), Varanasi in Feb. 2007
(Technical Flying Pilot) for admission in NDA. Won Rashtrapati Puraskar in Bharat Scouts & Guides in July 2006. Also actively participated in various confidence boosting events like Explore Himalayas, Youth Parliament, Debates, and singing competitions.
