2013 Present F. Hannan Properties http:/www.sydneycorporatepark.com.au Chief Electrician Sydney Corporate Park. Removal/isolation of electrical services in the redundant printing facility (Hannanprint). HV operator for the entire site as per the ISMP (Installation Safety Management Plan). Maintain the entire HV/LV network. Keep updated SLD (single line drawings). Monthly surveys on all electrical distribution equipment using voltage/current measuring instruments and thermal scanning, also document results and submit to management. Develop ideas and designs on how various building projects both on-site and at Wyong (Central Coast Business Park) can be supplied with either low voltage or high voltage power or both. Carry out electrical installations as required on-site in co-operation with a local contractor. Designed a HV network which allowed the owner to buy the remaining on-site Energy Australia substations from Ausgrid and resupply them from the internal HV utlities. This meant that the entire site became totally private and also includes an embedded network which sells electricity. This design was initially suggested by an electrical consulting company at a cost of $7-10 million dollars whereas my design was achieved for as little as $1.1 million with the exact same final result.

1993 2012 Hannanprint Pty Ltd (Australia) http://www.hannanprint.com.au Chief Electrician Supervising an electrical maintenance department over three shifts (10 electricians). Designed and built a large motor control centre for a paper waste system and a centralised air supply control system. Installed various machines including their power supply wiring plus general power and light installations.

While working for Hannanprint I volunteered my electrical knowledge to the owners of the Sydney Corporate Park, F. Hannan Properties: Instrumental in proposing to use the spare High Voltage switchgear capacity on-site to supplying temporary HV to a commercial/retail building prior to being supplied by Ausgrid some 18 months later. That saved F Hannan Properties many hundreds of thousands of dollars in possible claims from signed up tenants who would not have been able to tenant their offices on the agreed time. At the same time I also designed with the assistance of ABB the High Voltage switchgear needed to supply the above building plus other associated buildings which are owned by F. Hannan Properties. In December 2012 transferred from Hannanprint to F. Hannan Properties

Designed and implemented building alterations, ergonomic lighting and ergonomic furniture to accommodate a technological change to electronic pagination for local newspapers that the company owned. Installed a new drive system on one of the main printing presses plus changed the relay control system to PLC control. Designed the installation of a large multi-unit printing press and associated infrastructure. December 1992 made redundant as the company wanted to transfer from in-house maintenance to using contractors.
