A1)The Properties of Reinforced Concrete Reinforced concrete is a composite material in which concrete's relatively low tensile strength and

ductility are counteracted by the inclusion of reinforc ement having higher tensile strength and/or ductility. The reinforcement is usua lly, though not necessarily, steel reinforcing bars (rebar) and is usually embed ded passively in the concrete before the concrete sets. Reinforcing schemes are generally designed to resist tensile stresses in particular regions of the concr ete that might cause unacceptable cracking and/or structural failure. Modern rei nforced concrete can contain varied reinforcing materials made of steel, polymer s or alternate composite material in conjunction with rebar or not. Reinforced c oncrete may also be permanently stressed (in compression), so as to improve the behaviour of the final structure under working loads. The most common methods of doing this are known as pre-tensioning and post-tensioning. Other properties is , it have : High relative strength High toleration of tensile strain Good bond to the concrete, irrespective of pH, moisture, and similar factors Thermal compatibility, not causing unacceptable stresses in response to changing temperatures. Durability in the concrete environment, irrespective of corrosion or sustained s tress for example. A2)The strength and durability of concrete and steel Reinforced concrete is a creation of the combined results of different proper ties in concrete and steel combination. This can produce a strength to resist fo rces compression and tension. These materials are building materials that are st rong and durable for it as a memberbuilding. It can be formed into shapes vary w ith the changing size. For example, from a simple rectangular pillar through to form cupola (dome) are slender and curve A3)The Position of Reinforcement Bar Reinforcement installed in accordance with the accompanying drawings for such a structure. It is very important to ensure availability of concrete cover for reinforcement said. Thus, each structure should be according to the closing table concrete Is tied with iron steel fasteners 16 or 18 iron gauge .These fasteners are used for the purpose of stabilizing and facilitating placement of reinforce ment network. In CP 110, we are able to know the requirements of the desig n reinforcement in the structure of the building. all bending shall be made in a ccordance with engineering drawings with tolerance work is 25%.

A4)Spacing in Reinforcement Concrete

The minimum distance between steel bars Distance reinforcement in structural mem bers is important because if too close, it's hard for compression work to be don e. From the concrete strength required is not achieved. in the event that so far , the possibility of shear failure will occur. By the code practice in CP 110 ha s suggested the following:
